Come on Frank Walker, get your first season interception against the great Peyton Manning. That would just be the cherry on top for me. I think he will do fine, if not, Ivy should be a quality backup. Thoughts?

I have confidence in him. He defended 3 passes in the Titans game, and almost got an interception if the ref didn't call a BS call on him (I didn't see any holding from my angle).

Yeah but the Titans didn't have Reggie Wayne, Marvin Harrison, Anthony Gonzalez, and Peyton Manning.

And you know how people like to pick on Frank Walker... :(

Let's just keep them to FG's and on the bench. As long as we can establish the run and take the crowd out of it we should be alirght. But if it comes down to Frank Walker....

The Titans number 1 WR couldnt even be a number 3 guy on the Colts. I dont want to be a debbie downer but Frank Walker vs. Peyton Manning scares me.

I think if we use the dime and the nickel packages, which we probably will for a majority, we should be OK.

Why has this been happening to our CBs? Sure Walker had a great game against the Titans. But the Colts recievers are like a big juicy hamburger, while the Titans WR are half a hot dog bun. I hope Walker steps up, hopefully he doesn't get flustered to early.

Is Derrick Martin still out too? Our secondary is starting to look like it did last year with Landry, Rolle, Washington, and last I remember Martin out too.

In any case, CMac was talking about how if we had the depth we have this year last year, we would have been more successful in 07. So I'm gonna take CMac's vote of confidence (Rex Ryan's too, he's happy with our secondary depth) and hope he, Walker, Ivy, and Oglesby can hold down the Colts receivers.

The other part of this is we should be able to get to Peyton, unlike trying to get to the Titans AB which has only happened twice this season thus far. Peytons line while it may have all of its starters back is not as big I do not think, nor is it going to be able to hold our pass rush back for extended amounts of time. The secondary will have its work cut out for it though, and heaven forbid Peyton decide to do 2min drill on us all game that could cause some serious issues.

All condidence I had about week 6 is gone. I would be scared if they decided to match the hotdog cart guy up against Walker. Whoever he's matched against, and I would assume it's Harrison, might have a career day. Which would equal a pretty big day indeed.

I'm thinking Suggs will have a good game against Charlie Johnson.

dude, did you see peyton against chicago...not very good right
the only games he did well in were against horrible defenses

we have c-mac on one side...and a good rush we should be fine

as long as flacco doesnt try to dive over the top of colts defenders we should win

Anyone know where Frank Walker came from and I would say that our secondry is an area that the team might want to address for these up and coming years!

The Bears also have two pro bowl caliber CB and they also faced the Colts early in the season ,when Peyton was still rusty from missing all of the preseason. The Ravens dont get that benefit. And a pass rush doesnt mean a damn thing if Frank Walker cant cover long enough to force Peyton to hold the ball. See the end of the Titans game. Notice just about every pass Collins threw went to Walker's side of the field.

C-Mac needs to be man up on wayne EVERY DOWN! I dont care what posistion he is in, we cant allow frank walker to cover wayne. I personally liked walker before he got here, now, eh he looked good last week but this week will be hard for him.

I say cmac on wayne and then walker and ivy on harrison and gonzalez... clarck is another option, but we may keep him in 2 block if we get to peyton alot.

Hopefully the DL can help the DB's out this week, were gonna need it

For people talking about peyton not being the same...... hes WAYYYYY past due for a huge game, lets just hope we can hold it off one more week :P
