Oh, every team has fans like those. There's no need to apologise for them. I think everybody here is intelligent enough to not generalize people with similar interests into one opinion.

Hey guys, Texans fan here. I first want to say the members of the official Houston Texans forums are mostly all idiots over there. They want to fire everyone and trade everyone after each loss and when we win they think we're just the greatest team ever and they can spout off nonsense for hours about stuff they know nothing about. If you want a "more" intelligent fanbase to interact with check out TexansTalk.

That being said, I don't know how anyone can blame us for picking our team to win. We're fans, that's what we do. I've heard a lot from some Ravens fans saying it's stupid to even pick our team to win because we have no chance. We might not, but I don't expect y'all to pick against the Ravens.

Our teams are very well matched up and i think the game will be very close regardless of who wins. I'll say 20-17 Texans. If you win, i'll be here to congratulate you for sure and likely pull for you regardless of who you play in the AFC championship, i've always been a very big Ray Lewis fan and would like to see him get another ring if we can't.

I just don't want HT.com to be your first and only impression about most Texans fans. Good luck tomorrow.

Thanks. And don't worry about it. We have our "interesting forum members", you have yours, and I'm sure every team in the league has theirs. We've all had plenty of time to get used to hearing outrageous things. Good luck to your team as well.

Great game, guys. That was one of the more evenly matched games i've watched in a while, the turnovers just killed us in the end. I was really impressed with my Texans and i believe we're in the mix for the long haul once we get Schaub and some of our key pieces back. Hopefully you guys get Ed Reed back to take your best shot at the Pats in Foxboro next week. I would like to see Ray Lewis get another ring before he's done because he's a true class act and i've enjoyed watching him for a long time, probably my favorite non Texan.

Good luck to you guys and we'll see you again in the regular season next year.

Ya'll had Schaub playing and I really think Houston would walk through the rest of the league. No defense is stopping Foster, your Oline can pass block with the best of them when Foster is running wild, and AJ is legit. You guys are the most balanced team in the league.

That was a hell of a game from the Texans today. I had a lot of respect for that team coming into the game and I have so much more coming out of that game. Your offensive and defensive lines played out of their minds all day. 5 sacks on Flacco, none on Yates, and 132 rushing yards for Foster.

Now we see why the Texan fans were calling for a big win! Big props to the Texans, they were the only ones besides Web, lewis, and Reed who were "ballin so hard" today!

i have always been impressed with the texans and they reminded me why today. you have a lot to be proud of in that squad. they took to the Ravens....no doubt! glad my boys pulled it out but it was a slugfest. good luck to your boys as they continue to make noise in the league.

Texans fans should be proud of their team, they came out and went down guns blazing.
[/quote]

Yup they played well, but I knew a rookie QB would never be able to win a playoff game vs the Ravens defense. They almost shocked me when they drove down the field on the back of Foster, but I knew Foster couldn't carry the offense to a win, it would come down to Yates.

I don't just respect the Texans, I like them. I like that team. I like the way they play and for the most part I like their fans. They played a heck of a game today. If they had won, I'd be grieving right now and mad as all get out; but I would still say the same thing.

Those guys are going to be dangerous for a long time to come. It may not mean much to Texans fans, but congratulations on a good season facing adversity.

I thought we didn't have heart since we didn't play a wildcard game this year lmao

I'm not an "In your face" type of person when we win.. but let's take a moment to point and laugh at the Texans fan that said the above statement.

The Ravens forced the turnovers besides the Special Teams gaffe. The Texans are a good team and shut down our offense but the fact is we found a way to come out on top. Texan fans feel like they should have won if this and that didn't happen but the fact is those things did happen. Webb made two pics and Ed should have made two if not three also. Shaub is hurt, deal with it. Also deal with the fact that the Ravens beat the Texans when he was in the game. Playoff football warrants than most teams aren't 100% so any whiners need to stop and order some cheese.
Next year may be the Texans year. They are really good but accept the loss, praise the winners because it wasn't dirty, and move on.

Good game
Go Ravens!

Thanks for the congrats. Your team is the real deal. We'll give the Pats our best shot I hope anyway.

Hmmm...perhaps could we borrow your O line? lol
