Ravens #2 Seed Concern?

12 posts in this topic

So I heard something about based in past how successful has the #2 seed in AFC and in general?

Does anybody know. How good history shows a #2 seed is?

EDITN
Last #2 seed to have success was the 2008. Steelers. But last two years Patriots and Chargers have failed as being #2 seeds

I think we are different and will prove history wrong

Im pretty sure the Pats were the #1 seed last year. Steelers were second and went to the Super Bowl. In any case, none of this has anything to do with us.

Yeah, none of this has any bearing on us and I'd be surprised to see any stats that do prove the #2 seed is not successful in the playoffs, as none were provided in the original post.

The #2 seed has been the most successful in recent history. Not sure what we're worried about here. The past doesn't even make a difference, it's just a trend that tells us what we already know. The #2 seed is a good team.

Doesn't matter what seed you are, if this team wants to win to the Super Bowl, then it will play like it wants to win in the Super Bowl.

As far as I was aware, having the bye and the home field was typically the best numerical predictor of success...

Who can forget our run as a wild card, though? :-p

All I knows if under Harbaugh we are either undefeated coming off a bye or something really good, we play great coming off a bye

We played Houston this year coming off our BYE and we won.....they have a much tougher defense this year, they played great at home in front of their crowd where they could use the crowd to their advantage, they were quicker off the line..that wont happen in Bmore, advantage will be ours....our defense at home plays great

it wouldnt surprise me to see our defense score points this week

Based on the chart the Ravens picked a good spot.

hopefully, the Ravens watched that game last night (i believe they did...lol) and saw the steelers get tebowed. that should really add more fuel to their fire to go out there and beat the texans and all other teams in their way!
