I think the Saints Offense is pretty easy to figure out and im not claiming to be a Offense/Defense Guru.

Did the Lions only send 4 after Brees all/most of the game or did I just miss blitzes? Brees could have read War and Peace in that pocket and still found time to complete a pass.

Brees,Graham,Sproles,Thomas, all their fast WRs, top 2 guards combo with Evans,Nicks(arguably)....Idk thats really hard to defend.

You could keep a DB on him honestly, he Rices Size but Smaller. Think Zibby could take care of him honestly, When Zibby Tackles, he Tackles Hard. He got Alex Smith Pretty good, and man , Zibby came out of no where, its in my Montage of the 49ers game if you don't remember the Play.

Actually the offense is extremely intricate with hundreds of different packages and constant player changes. We beat them last year, Brees had a down year, but we would definitely have to run the ball successfully to win that game. And Cary and JSmith would have to be big.

While Brees is no doubt impressive and I LOVE that they never take their foot off the gas, Detroit had plenty of opportunities in this game. How many balls that should have been INTs did they have in their hands and just drop? In the last 3 passes in the last 30 seconds of the 2nd quarter, Brees hit 2 Lions right in the hands and they let them hit the ground. That happens with any other teams (especially the ballhawks on the Ravens) and I doubt they get away with it.

I haven't watched the Saints much this year ... I couldn't believe some of the throws that Brees was trying to make. There could easily have been 6 picks in that game.
