Saints Versus Lions Thread

Last weekend featured the high-scoring Lions nearly upsetting the Packers. They kept pace but fell short 45 to 41. The Lions were one of the surprise teams while compiling a 10 and 6 record. They started off with five straight wins. On the other hand, the Saints have the most productive offense in football. Coming into the season, I felt that they were the one team that could defeat the Packers in the playoffs. They seem to have regained their 2009 Super Bowl winning form after starting off with a loss to the Packers in the season opener. They had a rough 2 weeks where they lost to the Rams and the Bucs. The Saints beat the Lions 31 to 17 in week 13.

Well last year the Saints were one and done after losing to a 7-9 Seahawks team and now they are playing a way better 10-6 Detroit Lions team. Can the Saints keep up their momentum or will they once again go one and done? I say Saints win and Brees probably comes close to some passing record, either most yards or Touchdowns.

I figure the Saints to win this game. I would like the Lions to win this game though. I don't like Brees. He either already broke it or is close to breaking Johnny U's streak of games with a passing TD. Don't like to see anyone touch his records. Yeah, I know they will all fall eventually but I'd rather it be a Raven.
