Cam Is In Houston

78 posts in this topic

Find it interesting we have played both these teams and he went out there to study Texans. I'll give him credit for doing his due diligience but let's see how he executes it in a game plan.

This is a great idea by Cam.

He should do this again next week. Go up to New England to scout the Saturday game while someone else takes over OC duties for the Sunday game.
If the Patriots are allowed to bring in Josh McDaniels then I say send Cam to New England and let either Jim Zorn or Hue Jackson(whoever becomes available first) take over next Sunday.

Good for him, but can't he do the same thing watching it on tv?
No, he can get a better view of the scheme and the entire field at the game.......You can't see the routes develop and much downfield on TV

I didnt mean tv like we have. Don't NFL teams have access to way more camera angles than we do?

That's cool. But the Texans defense is pretty much the same as the last time we saw them. Shouldn't Pagano be down there to get a better read on rookie TJ Yates?

Off-topic, I think it's cool that Chuck's brother John is getting his shot as D.C. for the Chargers.

Yeah actually that makes the most sense. Why is Cam there, their defense is pretty much the the same defense we beat earlier, I mean I could understand if they were getting Mario Williams back but they aren't. Pagano should be there to scout Yates and Andre Johnson.

Lmao, I'm just picturing him sitting in the crowd coloring in his book with crayons and forgetting why he is even there. Pretty cool though that he's atleast trying

They may, not sure though.

Yes, NFL teams have access to all of the full field camera shots taken during the game. What I think the reason is for Cam going down there, is to view the sideline activity of the Texans, how the defense substitutes and stuff like that.

smart idea, i knew DeCosta was sending scouts to all the games at the college level, as well as who our potential opponent could be, just didnt think it was Cam

lets hope he's getting some ideas on how to attack their D...it will be tough to run it against them so guys will need to step up in the passing game

Apparently Cam Cameron is at the game today to scout Houston.
hopefully Cam and the crew with him seen a variety of ways to attack this texans defense for our Ravens offense to have a monster game for the win next win. good job Cam.

Well Cam's seen the Texans defense once this season already. Flacco threw for over 300 yards in that game despite being hit like a punching bag all game, and Rice rung them up for over 100 yards that game. Shaub was the only reason they were still in that game in the second half.

I hope that Cam noticed how the Texans like to score during the entire game, not just the first half. He should try to make sure that his team does likewise.

ageed!!

now that the playoffs have begun...our offense HAS TO KEEP SCORING!!! all of that "conservative," and predictable (run, run, pass, etc.) b.s. playcalling of his has to be thrown out!!! the texans kept scoring and broke the bengals spirit and will to win!! that is what the Ravens have to do to EVERY opponent on the road to and winning the Superbowl!!

Nice one by Cam, hopefully he did his job right and didn't give the Bengals any tips ( and from what it looks like from that performance, it sure looks like it).
:P Just kidding, but it's always fun to make a knock at him.

What I find interesting is that the Ravens contacted the Texans beforehand and gave them a 'heads up' that Cam will be in the stands.

Cam'd if he don't, Cam'd if he do....... ease up on Cam people, we 12-4, just swept our diviion and we sitting on a bye ready to face Houston next week. For the overall season, I give Cam like a B+ considering we beat every team that was a playoff team and we played against like 10 Top 10 defensive teams but what offsets that is we lost to teams we were suppose to beat and in those games, the one thing they all had in common is Cam abandoning the run due to us falling behind. Cam gets a B+ from me...

I'll give him a C+. Overall, our offense wasn't that bad. Outside of those 4 games, our offense was pretty good. Especially considering the great defenses we played.

I'll give him a C squared for Cam Cameron. I loved seeing us take chances down the field at first, but Terrell Suggs said it after the Jags loss. You can't give a pro bowl RB less than or equal to 10 carries per game. But like someone else said, I hope he took good notes on consistently scoring for the entire game. It's gonna be tough. The Texans are a sleeper Defense if you ask me. They definitely have a lot of talent. They have Brooks "Clay Matthews Wannabe" Reed, JJ Watt (man had a pick 6 today) and Jonathan Joseph who has made us pay before. I think if we use our offensive weapons right we can win.
