78 posts in this topic

Was just watching NFL countdown.

They just said Cam Cameron is going to be in houston today in the stands taking notes.

Thought that was interesting.

Good, this year is special and golden opportunistic for a big dance at Indianapolis......

Nobody on the team is taking it for granted or anything less than special....

So Cam is just doing his job....

Good Job, Cam

PS: Lets keep positive attitude throughout the postseason and no more finger pointing....I'm pretty sure our fans will do our best to support the team with the biggest noise with fiercely intimidating background...

Doing his job as aforementioned. Good work on his part. Hope the Steelers end up at NE, let those two beat up on each other.

Why can't he be there for an interview instead

When I first saw the thread, that was the first thing I thought of as well.

Cam sucks! ....Well, somebody had to say it

I am not high on Cam either, but we finished 12-4 and Rice had the best rushing year of his career. (Yeah, I know Leach was a beast.) I have learned to give Cam a break until he drops the ball.

This is what I thought. Still, glad he's going the extra 100s of miles in gameplanning!

Apparently Cam Cameron is at the game today to scout Houston.
Cam Cameron? You mean our conservative play calling Cam Cameron?

I don't get the point of sending him, maybe should have sent Jack Harbaugh to the game instead but I don't know what else we can learn. We beat them already, what is there to scout in person that we can't scout watching film?

Even if the Ravens end up seeing neither team, it's good that Cam's getting a head start. At the very least, this'll be beneficial in helping to gameplan against aerial attacks this postseason and the Bengals offense next season.

Could he please go to Denver tomorrow? We have a 2/3 chance of facing someone from that game rather than today's game.
He might be or they may be sending someone else there.

I am not a fan of Cam's however, I like to see this move. Means we are not taking anything for granted and are doing our best to be ready to win all the way.

Agreed. But on a brighter note, if Houston wins, we will automatically be seeing them next week.

2/3 chance? If Houston wins today that's it, we are going to be facing Houston. Be positive, GO TEXANS!

Hey everyone, I know Cam has history here of doing some boneheaded stuff, but right now it is time to band together. Let's show nothing but support for the Ravens, from the coaches on down. If things go bad, let's address it then. Until then, let's try to keep a positive attitude about this franchise. We have done something very special this year, and like it or not, Cam was a part of that. I'm not a huge fan, but he had a part in it, and the job of an OC is pretty stinking big. We swept our division, and were never beat at home. We are the number 2 seed, and get to rest. We are going to watch a team play a game tomorrow that won their division with an 8 -8 record. That team is playing the second place team from OUR division with a 12 - 4 record. We need to remember just how good we really have been this year, and what this team has accomplished. Keep the negativity until our road is done. This coaching staff, like them or not, have all been a big part in this. Stand behind them and cheer.

Caw Caw!!!

Good for Cam. Obviously he will break down the film after the game, but the view you get from the field cannot be captured on film. This will only help us (assuming the Texans win).

Well, namely the fact that the first time we beat them, they had Matt Shaub as their QB (and didn't have Andre Johnson).

I can only guess, but I'd presume it has something to do with him watching the sidelines and what adjustments are made from the sidelines to the field.

This is a great idea by Cam.

He should do this again next week. Go up to New England to scout the Saturday game while someone else takes over OC duties for the Sunday game.
