Are you Arabic? I'm Pakistani so...

I'm actually a Euro mutt born and raised in the U.S., but I major in Arabic Studies at University of Maryland and this summer, I'm taking the Intensive Advanced Level course. And to answer Flaccopoe's question, my fluency is improving. Sometimes I accidentally say thank you in Arabic when someone holds the door for me and also in other random situations. I need to spend some time in an Arab country in order to become real fluent in it. Yall should check out Fairouz. She no longer performs, but I like the folk song style of Arabic music for the most part. Very calming.
