Here's how he gets credited for the comeback, Rice did have 3 TDs. But, he didn't have 250 yards rushing. In fact, he only had 63, on 18 carries. A 3.5 average. Flacco, however, completed 60.6 percent of his passes for 336 yards. He didn't score those 3 touchdowns, but its safe to say that he put Rice in the position to get those three touchdowns. And if you can in anyway deny that, you are completely delusional.

Rice also had as much receptions as Boldin in that game (7). I can bet that 3-5 out of those Rec's were dump offs that went for 1st downs. It doesn't take an elite QB to dump off passes..

Sproles also isn't the best player in NO. Rice is easily our best player. You get your best player the ball, period. And ya know, I'd kill for Joe to have half that WR corps. Rice gets catches for two reasons:

1. He is our best player, arguably on both sides of the ball

2. Our receivers our inconsistent.

No one is on his sack. Its clearly obvious Rice is our most potent weapon. But to take away what Flacco did in the second half of the AZ game by saying Rice had 7 receptions is just dumb. Its not so much anyone flying high about Flacco, just others detracting from whatever success he's had. Go read a ton of my posts. I am not a Flacco "lover" by any means, rather give credit where/when its due. Does Joe stink sometimes? Absolutely!! A dropped ball turned INT, blown protection into a fumble, specials teams TD and THEN coming from behind to win the game constitutes a comeback and a great second half performance!!

This right here describes 99% of the posters who come on here and defend Flacco, because he is constantly berated for even the smallest failures. When he has a great game, some people still find reasons to hate. I have never said he is an elite QB, but he fits our team. He manages the game and is capable of making big throws to extend drives in clutch situations. He is never going to throw for 5,000 yards and I have no issue with that, but we have seen that he can take over and win games when we need him to.
