Best Rookie- Torrey Smith (going into the season, he had a lot of haters and everyone was about Doss)
Toughest-Marshall Yanda

Most Improved-Cary Williams (Practice squad) followed by a tie between Jameel and Terrance
Unsung Hero-Terrance Cody
Best FA acquisition- Bernard Pollard (should of been starting day 1)
Best Rookie-Pernelle McPhee! The Pernellephant!
Toughest-Haloti Ngata (several guys playing through injury but hes got a beat up knee, fighting in the trenches)

MVP-Sam Koch


Couldn't put Suggs as MVP because even though he had a ton of FF and 14 sacks, he was a non-factor in several games (yes I know he was double teamed) and we saw what this team was without Webb starting..

Overall good job to these guys and the whole team, Ozzie great job bringing in the talent.

Koch was great last year and deserved a pro bowl spot

But he's not been the same at all this year, disappointing.

I'm not sure who I would have as MVP of Special Teams but Koch does not deserve any great praise for this season

I would probably put Grubbs as the unsung hero. The line just didn't look the same without him.

unsung hero for me is birk. at his age he is still pretty darn good.

mvp for me is ray rice. he does it all and we would´t be where we are without him.

most improved: kruger. i wasn´t a fan of him before the year. but he really got it going. was a consistent terror in the backfield. should be great for years.

most disappointing: billy cundiff. didn´t duplicate his great season. missed a lot of short ones. probably the worst kicker this year. was outplayed by steven H. and that says a lot!!

talking about suggs: i for myself believe that he is very good. he disappeared from time to time but he made those big played to win games. he does´t have those sexy stats but they are pretty good! 14 sacks is his best until now and i think he will even get better...

[color=#282828][font=helvetica, arial, sans-serif]Unsung Hero - Bryant McKinnie. The reason our O-line play has improved. Solid pickup. [/font][/color]

[color=#282828][font=helvetica, arial, sans-serif]Unsung Hero - Cory Redding. He gets some credit but he really has stepped his play up this year. I'd be more than happy to see him return for the right price next year. [/font][/color]

Still would like to see an OLB show up that can play every down as a run stopper and pass rusher.

best rookie i would give to pernell mcphee. no one expected anything out of this guy and he far exceeded the low expectations. not trying to take anything away from torrey because he had a great season but it was really fun to watch mcphee perform this year
