Actually there isn't...nothing that couldn't have been discussed in the other thread about who people think we'll face...I feel like this thread is a bad pilot for "Baltimore Shore" with all the nuts and Bros being thrown around

Why would anyone even post this silly topic. Every person I have talked to says the only person holding the team back is Cam. The ravens problems this year, only seem to play down to their inferior competion and step up when it matters. And last I looked the Ravens are 6-0 against playoff teams. If anything, stoolers fans should be scared for coming to Baltimore for its a totally different animal then playing in the Heinz Field.

Ur talking about a team that has OWNED us for 3 outta the 4 years Flacco has been here...don't get me wrong I'm thrilled the Ravens killed some demons this year but don't lie to yourself and say your not even alittle bit afraid..hell even if not for the fact they've owned us be afraid for the fact there a divison rival...hell I'd probably be "afraid" if any team from the North including the Browns were an upcoming playoff opponent...

I actually want to face the Steelers once more, preferably in Conference championship after Steelers dispose of Patriots which would give us automatically 1st seed and home field throughout. If that happens, man, it would be a HUGE game. Wasn't there a year not too long ago when Steelers won all 3 meetings with us? If so, I definately don't mind having the chance to repay them with 3 consecutive beatings. But whoever we face in playoffs, it don't matter, the objective remains the same.

I haven't heard that "everyone" is scared of the Steelers. Personally, I feel that the Texans, Steelers, or Broncos would be a good match-up. Each of those teams have issues that I believe the Ravens could easily exploit.

I think that the Patriots are really the only team in the AFC that we'd have to step up with and score over 24 pts to win...even with the type of Defense we got. This is also possible since their D is absolute garbage. Should be an interesting next few weeks!

I can't speak for everyone but I don't think fans are "scared" of facing any team. It's only natural to prefer to face the team that is commonly thought of as not as good so you have an easier time on your way to the Super Bowl.

The Steelers aren't great this season but there are worse teams out there.

No one gives a crap who you beat on the way to the SB. History will only remember the name of the champion. So let the chips fall how they may -- if we are a true SB team, it wont matter who gets put in front of us.

I would love to destroy PIT when we come off of our bye.

BUT

1. We wont get our respect because PIT will be playing with a hobbled BB, and no Mendenhall

and more importantly,

2. The emotional and physical drain of a Ravens / Steelers game is not the ideal scenario when we likely have to travel to Foxborough the following week.

For the sake of our ultimate goal, I want the easiest possible path to the SB. I want Denver to pull a horseshoe out of their rears (see what I did there? Lol) and beat PIT.
