Carr is a 5'7 zone corner playing in primarily a man coverage system. Cary isn't an above average corner but neither is Carr, the difference is Cary actually has upside with his length and size. Carr made a nice break on a ball yesterday in man coverage but most people that have watched him play in the last 2 years were likely surprised. He's undersized, and in the wrong system to his coverage strengths. Carr was the one not worth the paycheck, especially the route Pagano is trying to go with out secondary.

Cary and Webb are great corners for the system we run. Cary does what he is told and you cant blame him for that. Considering this is his first starting season. He is very solid.

Carr is a good tampa 2 corner(smaller with good agility not asked to intercept the ball just knock it down)

dang carr is only 5'7'' i thought he was 5'10''

This was basically Cary's rookie year, so I think it's fair to say he did pretty well. He'll get better hopefully..meaning picks. He had a lot of PDs and what not, so that's a good thing. I think we need to trade Foxworth and/or Carr to get some draft picks.

Sorry but Cary is an above average corner. He just needs to work on catching the ball. And Carr is fine. It's just a down year for him that's been plagued with injuries. He may let up passes now and then but he rarely gives up much YAC. I do agree about him not fitting as well in the new system though. I think most Ravens fans tend to overreact to any pass given up. Carr played half the game yesterday and the D only gave up like 5.3 yards per attempt. He also had 2 passes defended which is pretty nice.

I like Cary. I think he takes as much heat as he does because he doesnt have the interceptions. The guy has a ton of pass breakups. I don't think we would have won week 9 in pitt without him. He had a couple good 3rd down breakups. I can remember one to wallace down the sideline and one to cotchery. He wraps up as well. He definitely has potential.

Its getting annoying with all these new threads coming up about players who "aren't talked about" when in reality their contributions have been recognized en mass all season.

Sub par? Not worth a paycheck? Not sure what you have been watching, but Cary has been pretty solid and has the potential to be much better. Definitely a keeper.
