The only way we see Pittsburgh first is if Pittsburgh and Cincy both win. We get highest seed and Pittsburgh is 5 and Cincy is 6. If Houston and Pittsburgh win, we get Houston. If Denver and Houston win, we get Houston. If Houston and Cincy wins, we get Houston. If Denver and Cincy win, we get Denver.

I think so too, but I think that Cincy/Houston game could go either way. Texans are hard to beat at home, even though they're banged up.

Let's not lie to ourselves guys......

In 2 weeks we'll be playing another bloody battle with our hated rivals...

We can cross our fingers all we want....

Call me crazy but I don't really care if we see them anymore. I think 8-0 in the division is giving me some confidence. They're still the last team I want to see, but they don't worry me as much right now.

No lying, just plenty of possibilities to weed through.

I know Pitt will get highly motivated to play us, but not for anything, they have looked terrible the last 4 to 5 weeks and have only beaten 2 good teams this year.

A lot of people in the media will pick the Steelers as their AFC fav due to past success, but they're not paying attention to the now, and that is that they just are not as good as their record indicates. When we played @ Foxboro in 2009 all I heard on ESPN and CBS was that, "Well guys, it's Tom Brady in the playoffs at home, Ravens have no chance". Well we all know what happened there.

Dont count Denver out lol. Ben is still playing through pain, its in DEN, plus Broncos D is pretty good. If Broncos can control turnovers I think it could be close

I want Pitt but Ben is banged up and Mendenhall tore his ACL, so we'll never hear the end of why we won besides we're better

Seems like D coordinators have figured out Tebow. They've done nothing at all for the last 3 or 4 weeks. I'd be shocked if they beat Pitt.

I agree, and the first time they beat the Browns 14 to 3, they beat them 13 to 9 today, the same exact score that they beat KC with. San Fran beat them 20 to 3, and so if this was any other team than Denver, if this was the Chargers or Raiders I would say there would be a shot of Pittsburgh losing but Denver won't be too much trouble.

Here's what it comes down to:

1 Seed plays the LOWEST Seed remaining, and the 2 Seed plays the HIGHEST Seed remaining, in which case:

1) If Cincy(6) and Pittsburgh(5) WIN, Bengals being the 6th Seed head to NE and Steelers would come to Baltimore.

2) If Pittsburgh and Houston win, Pittsburgh being the lowest head to NE, Houston comes to Baltimore.

3) If Cincy and Denver win, Cincy goes to NE and Denver comes to Baltimore.

4) If Denver and Houston win, Denver Goes to NE and Houston comes to Baltimore.

They've only beaten 2 good teams this year? That would be New England and Cincy twice, right? That's interesting.

I am still a little skeptical due to Baltimore's continual lack of offensive prowess during the playoffs (and regular season for that matter), and the defense is suspect of late, but Pittsburgh definetely doesn't scare me as much as in past years.
Regardless of that,

The Broncos just played in a 7-3 game...and lost...when their playoff appearance was at stake.

Even if Ben is still hobbled and even without the services of Mendenhall, the Steelers should take this game. I wouldn't be horrifically surprised if Pitt managed to let the Broncos stay in the game for a minute or two, but that's it.

Great point about Denver. Tim Tebow is showing his true colors now.

Doesn't matter. Just hit the man across from you!!!

That said, I'd love to beat Ben three times.

Who knows what team we'll play. But it only seems logical that the Ravens and Steelers will be facing off for a third time (it always happens). I wish it weren't true.

But Houston has looked like crap lately. And Tebow isn't beating the Steelers. I wish I was wrong on both accounts and we'd have Tebow coming to Baltimore after they knocked out the Steelers. But c'mon, lets be real.

I'd like to see Houston. I've had about all I can stand of Cincy. Houston with the Rookie QB won't know how to handle us. Remember. It's the same team that lost to the COLTS not to long ago. They beat Cincy once already.

Steelers won today 13-9 to the browns. Also lost Mendenhall. And it was on the road. I think the Broncos are better then CLE and steelers have trouble with running QBs

To be the best you have to beat the best. Well we have beat the Steelers twice this year and I believe a 3rd time is very fitting. It's the least we could do for them beating us three times in 2008. I would love nothing more than us to beat Pitt in Baltimore and then us go to New England and beat them too. But then again, It would be nice to play both the divisional and championship game IN Baltimore.

I kinda forsee, and hope for that matter, the playoff scenario will go something like this: Wild Card round-Steelers beating Broncos, Texans beating Bengals. Divisional Round-Ravens beating Texans, Steelers beating Patriots. Conference Round-Ravens beating Steelers in Baltimore. I think this is the best situation and most probable. Steelers could knock Patriots out of 1st seed, giving Ravens home field in Conference. That would be great for Ravens, even if we face Steelers 3rd time, but it would be in Baltimore in Conference Championship.

More than likely I would say Steelers (#5 seed)

I just don't see Tim Tebow and Broncos beating Steelers. Of course, this wouldve been no question asked if Big Ben was fully healthy with Woodley/Harrison in the same game. I would say as soon as Steelers reach our turf, they would have both Woodley/Harrison ready, and Big Ben should be healthy enough to do everything he has done this regular season.

The game between Bengals(#6) & Houston(#3) is a bit harder to analyze. If Houston's former #1 defense shows up, Arian Foster can run through the bungals and fight us on next game. If Bengals squeeze out a win, we won't be seeing them this playoff.

So in the end the most likely scenario would be us fighting Steelers or (least likely Houston).

That would have us fight Steelers in full force, and then week after that, we would need to got Cheatriots stadium and fight in their turf.

STEELERS then Patriots then Superbowl. Only way I see this happening.

6-0 in the division, 8-0 at home.

But no matter who we play, we all know the Bank will be rocking. It will rock even louder if our opponent is the Steelers though!

Well, honestly, theres only one thing i want to happen....is someone to beat New England so we can have home field the rest of the way.

Houston- Im not worried, TJ yates with a unhealthy andre johnson doesnt scare me a bit. Foster does, althought we did stop him at the begining of the year, we havent exactly been that great against the the run and he is decievingly fast. Stack the line and have a saftey play behind Andre, we would be fine, i think we would take it 27-21

Pitt- Obviously they scare me, they are just like us and somehow always seem to pull it out when it matters. Last year comes to mind, up 21 points i think, and just gave the game away, but they did make the plays. Hopefully big ben will still be a little slow, i didnt watch yesterday to see how he moved...If we play them, i see a 17-13 game, us winning.

Cinci- I think the pressure will get to them and they will choke no matter who they play...i think we run all over them again if we play them. Benson will fumble and dalton will throw 2 picks. 27-13

Pats- Ive wanted to play them all year, i always think back to the game two years ago in foxboro, and i bet tom brady would be thinkin the same thing. Like ive always said about brady, you just got to hit the guy and he will get rattled and you HAVE to jam the wr's at the line of scrimage. The two TE set worries me but i see an int comming from one of those quick slants they try, i think we could handle them, only problem is that it would be in foxboro, that part worries me, that game i would see a 20-14 game, us.

Denver- id love to have this game. with all those floppy passes tebow throws im sure ed would make a comeback and even take one to the house, if he didnt i would bet money web would. They have a good defense, but we have a better one, and a better offense. i see that game goin roughly 24-13

Obvioulsy im thinking we arent going to have Boldin, if we do i like our chances way better. That pass that Evans dropped is leaving such a bad taste in my mouth, perfect pass....but, overall i like our chances making it to the big game. If we do, i see us playing the saints, im not getting into that preview yet.
