Houston Fans Next Week

40 posts in this topic

I think we should all be rooting for the Texans to win next week against Cincy..... That would send the Pitt?Denver winner ( Pittsburgh ugh ) to New England and have Houston to play us at home. That would be a better scenario to me then Cincy winning and sending Pitt to us in the second rd.....I rather Pitt and NE play so that we would only play one of them instead of both. Thoughts????

I agree. I think we can beat anyone, but... I'd much rather play Houston right now over Pittsburgh. They don't scare me.

Yes we do not want Cincy to win this game I want Houston and a third string Qb at home ,not The Squeelers !!!!!

I don't see anyway Denver beats Pittsburgh . I would be shocked .

I agree. Houston winning brings them to Baltimore. A team that relies heavily on their run game.

I'd much rather face Houston than a divisional rival. Texans have had a lot of struggles the last few weeks and are limping backwards into the playoffs.

Does jake delhome?
True, T.J. Yates left the game with a bruised shoulder, but he said he could have returned if he had to (which he didn't since the Texans couldn't have improved their seeding at all.) So unless Yates gets injured against next week against the Bengals, we likely won't be seeing Delhomme.

Bring on whoever. If it's Houston or Pittsburgh, we're still the Baltimore Ravens. 3-0 against them this season, and that was WITH Matt Shaub playing.

I know we can beat the Steelers, that doesn't worry me. I just don't like that we're always so beat up the week after we play them that we lose the next week. I'd much rather play the Texans.

I think we'll end up playing Houston regardless because I don't think Cincy will win, and now Tebow will go against a true defense like the Steelers and be even more exposed. Now what happens if Denver wins, who would we play then?

Also I would rather wait to play Pittsburgh in the AFC Championship because I want to do to them what they did to us back in 2008, beat them 3 times and Win the Super Bowl.

Houston Texans with a Rookie QB or Jake Delhomme? Yes, please, thanks!

I'll be a huge Denver fan too... I don't wanna see Pitt again. Period.

Yea send the Steelers to an offensive giant and see how Big Ben slips away from that. Let the Texans come to us we already seen Pittsburgh twice and Cincy we deserve to host a nondivisional competitor at home

Well, honestly, theres only one thing i want to happen....is someone to beat New England so we can have home field the rest of the way.

Houston- Im not worried, TJ yates with a unhealthy andre johnson doesnt scare me a bit. Foster does, althought we did stop him at the begining of the year, we havent exactly been that great against the the run and he is decievingly fast. Stack the line and have a saftey play behind Andre, we would be fine, i think we would take it 27-21

Pitt- Obviously they scare me, they are just like us and somehow always seem to pull it out when it matters. Last year comes to mind, up 21 points i think, and just gave the game away, but they did make the plays. Hopefully big ben will still be a little slow, i didnt watch yesterday to see how he moved...If we play them, i see a 17-13 game, us winning.

Cinci- I think the pressure will get to them and they will choke no matter who they play...i think we run all over them again if we play them. Benson will fumble and dalton will throw 2 picks. 27-13

Pats- Ive wanted to play them all year, i always think back to the game two years ago in foxboro, and i bet tom brady would be thinkin the same thing. Like ive always said about brady, you just got to hit the guy and he will get rattled and you HAVE to jam the wr's at the line of scrimage. The two TE set worries me but i see an int comming from one of those quick slants they try, i think we could handle them, only problem is that it would be in foxboro, that part worries me, that game i would see a 20-14 game, us.

Denver- id love to have this game. with all those floppy passes tebow throws im sure ed would make a comeback and even take one to the house, if he didnt i would bet money web would. They have a good defense, but we have a better one, and a better offense. i see that game goin roughly 24-13

Obvioulsy im thinking we arent going to have Boldin, if we do i like our chances way better. That pass that Evans dropped is leaving such a bad taste in my mouth, perfect pass....but, overall i like our chances making it to the big game. If we do, i see us playing the saints, im not getting into that preview yet.

This would be the perfect game for Tebow to shine in that cold thin air at Mile High.
And the sqealers are not playing all that well. I think the broncs give them a good game, especially being at Mile High.

Not quite sure what the weather conditions will be but i will keep track of how many Steelers are sucking up oxygen on the sideline.

might just be me, but give me a cincy win and steelers win... lets go head to head with are arch nemesis these last few years in the PO and send them beaten battered and brusied, then march into foxborogh and leave brady and the rest of his girlfriends crying

I want to beat the best to be the best...

Is no one else worried that Houston's zone blocking scheme killed us last year when Foster was actually healthy?

Steelers haven't even been playing good ball the past couple weeks. If Denver can at least knock Ben around a little to keep his ankle/foot not 100% we can beat them easy. Bring on whoever, we'll earn our respect.

I'm pretty sure it was Schaub that killed us last year. Of course those were the old days of "rush three the entire second half"

I'm not sure if I fear Houston the least or the most. Their defense is great, but our offense has looked pretty good against good defenses this year including against Houston.
