OK, I'll bite. Been away for a few days. What is reat? Thought I knew, but from what I have read, it's way out of context for that meaning.

Was at the game Sunday. First away game ever attended. Cincy fans are overall nice people but man there was a lot of cussing flying around section 129.

Got caught in ice storm on way home Monday but otherwise an enjoyable new years eve, day and ay fater in Cincy.

We looked pretty good at times, mediocre at others.

From the endzone, we could see the running holes open up nicely.

Now do we want Cincy to win or Houston? Pretty sure Tebow has no chance.

So the question is---hope for Pitt at NE or Pitt vs us?
Wonder how many Pitt fans picked up our playoff tix yesterday.

If Pitt at us--tough to beat a team 3 times in a year but they are a bit ragged now.

In my mind, the best scenario is for houston and pburgh to win. We then, hopefully, handle houston and the squealers fight the pats and win; Then a showdown in Baltimore for a trip to Indy!

U bit? Well make sure u smallow... I gotta question before I answer... What did u think it was?

And someone made a new topic about players getting *rest* .... Except they put it as *reat* in the topic title so from there it went crazy quickly..
I had no part in it of course.. I never stray off topic

I originally thought is was being used as shortened spelling of a word that begins with ret*** and being used to describe someone posting mindless "thoughts".

Glad it's something easy to swallow!

I'm tarred, gonna' get some reat now..........

im so proud, of this team they have been thru the good, bad, and ugly... but thru it all they have keep there focus and love for each other. here's the thing: when you have mind, body, and soul that lives within each player, coaching staff, office there is an un-believe-ble strenght that rises above the occasion... after that nothing else matters. go ravens!

Looking forward to next week, does anyone think Q will be a tick quicker with his meniscus taken care of?
He says he's feeling better than he's felt all season. So maybe it was something that was hindering. Even if it is just a tad quicker, it should help a ton with getting better separation. Just hope he has confidence in the knee.

My Prediction for the AFC Playoffs
Wild Card
Texans over Benagls
Steelers over Broncos

Divisonal Round
Ravens over Texans
Steelers over New England

AFC Championship
a nail biting Ravens over Steelers, cause honestly who wouldn't like to see Big Ben get knocked around as he hobbles around in the backfield.

I'm a Baltimore native, having grown up in Woodlawn and Catonsville. I love and miss my Ravens tremendously as I now reside in Atlanta due to my job....so as one might expect, when they announced a pre-season game in Atlanta, I immediately purchased the best tickets possible. I had one goal in mind for that game...knowing that the second string was pretty much going to play the game....my goal was to get my 2000 Super Bowl XXXV football signed by Ray Lewis, the only remaining member of that team.

I got to the stadium early and was one of the first fans there. I watched Hiloti Ngata and Ray Rice bowl footballs down at the goal line. I saw Terrell Suggs warming up and Lee Evans in his walking boot. I saw coaches and players but did not see Ray Lewis. I moved over to the tunnel where the players come on and off the field. As the players strolled in and out after warming up individually, Ray was nowhere to be seen. Terrell came towards the tunnel and I asked him..."Is Ray here? If he is, tell him that I have a SB XXXV Football I'd like him to sign." Terrell kept walking and turned back to say that Ray didn't make the trip.

I was dismayed but not deterred. I just changed tactics...

Joe Flacco was walking off the field and I hollared to him..."Hey Joe, I have a SB XXV football here.." At first he didn't seem too interested but then I said, "Maybe if YOU sign it, it will bring you the luck you need to beat the Steelers and make it to the Super Bowl this year!!". Funny, I never thought of Joe as a superstitious guy but hey, I was an athlete once and we're ALL superstitious in one way or another....right? His eyes perked up and he said, "Give it here". Joe signed that football and instead of feeling bad about Ray Ray not signing it, I felt that I may have just done the team a huge favor. I know, kind of weird but hey, I am HUGE fan...so any rationalization is good.

I thanked Joe and he said, "No Problem" and walked on. A minute later, Coach Harbaugh walks up and I give him the same spiel...I laughed as he said, "Give it here!!". His eyes lit up and he was genuinely excited about signing my football.

The rest, as we say, is history...well almost. The rest of the story is still being written and though that making it to the Super Bowl this year will be a total RAVENS NATION effort, I like to think that a couple of superstitious guys signing a SB football from the last time the Ravens went to the SB might have something to do with their success.

Good Luck Coach, Joe, Ray, RAY RAY, Terrell and the rest of this wonderful team as you move forward with the dream and the mission. God Bless and GO RAVENS!!!!

Is the media so obsessed with seeing the Ravens-Steelers face off for a third time that they forget how the playoff seeding works when determining who plays who in the divisional round. Saw this on Rotoworld, they gave an update on Boldin and Boldin said he felt great after knee surgery then they said this:
"They'll likely either face the Steelers or Bengals in Week 19, assuming Pittsburgh isn't upset by the Broncos."
Um..... we can't play the Bengals due to the fact they are the 6th seed and would go to the Patriots if they beat the Texans and then in which would the Ravens play the Steelers, in which again if they don't win against the Broncos. Also there is a thing called when Houston wins and Pittsburgh goes to the Patriots while the Texans come to Baltimore.

You would think the media would know how the seeding works, but I guess they are so obsessed with seeing the Ravens-Steelers face off this is another case of assuming it will happen.

question. Im glad we play next Sunday but we are the #2 seed. We actually get 1 day rest over the Patriots, shouldnt it have been the other way around? or was it because the Pats won the early game so its kind of fair to give us the Sunday game?
