And the schedule is favorable. A bye week, then a game against either HOU or CIN, teams that we have already beaten this year.
Barring an upset, in the AFCCG we'll then face the winner of PIT / NE ... PIT wont beat us in our house (not that it matters -- it looks like we have their number this year) and last time we visited Foxborough in the post season, we demolished them.

My prediction:

Ravens - Saints in the big game!

Love this team <3

I'm a little more concerned at the prospect of facing NE. Yes, the playoff win was great, but as much as hate to admit it, Tom Brady did have a point when he said it was 1 win in 9 meetings.

Saints over Packers? Stranger things have happened. When I look at the teams in the NFC who are likely to make it to Indy, pretty much all of them scare me a bit. The Ravens defense couldn't even begin to keep up with Philip Rivers and the Chargers, what will happen if they face the Saints or Packers? Would they have another dominating performance against SF? The Falcons aren't what they were last season, but I still remember their 3 man rush consistently beating the Ravens o-line.

First things first though: Houston or Pittsburgh ( I think we all know that Denver doesn't stand a chance).

The Patriots don't scare anyone because a high school offense could score on them. I trust our defense to stop Tom Brady some of the time. Would you trust theirs to stop us? This is January football, not the Tom Brady airshow. Also, the Pats haven't won a playoff game since 2007.

Denver absolutely stands a chance. Pitt is travelling across the country to a high-altitude stadium and has to play with Ben hobbled and without Mendenhall. Also, Tebow has magic powers.

Denver just scored three points... in an entire game. I can't take them seriously anymore, but that's just me.

I agree. They peaked too early and I think that confidence and self belief was a big part of their game. Von Miller has disappeared since he hurt his thumb and Tebow is getting worse. The Denver D will have to play out of their mind for them to win that game.

Another interesting fact: not only are we the only team to go to the playoffs the past 4 seasons in a row, but since we have the first-round bye, we've also gotten at least to the divisional round the last 4 years! Impressive.

AFC North is the class of the NFL, lets keep rolling and keep winning big games, since they are all big games now.

PS- I am desparately looking for tickets for teh 15th, it is actually my oldest sons 21st birthday and I would love to take him to the game.

Ravens can beat anyone they face. As long as Rice gets his touches and are D gets pressure we're good.
I think Texans at home with their D and running game will beat the Bengals.
I think Broncos will upset Steelers! Lol. Tebow is a winner! Do you really not seeing him winning atleast 1 playoff game at home? Plus the Steelers and banged up and do have trouble vs running QBs. Ben still nursing ankle sprain. Mendenhall will be out. And Denvers D is pretty good. I know it sounds crazy and I want the Steelers to lose and they most likely wont but I dont think its gonna be a blowout as much as people think.
AFC Championship: Ravens vs Patriots
Superbowl: Ravens vs Saints

Great game. Rice & Pollard were the MVPs on each side of the ball.

You have to throw Suggs in there too. That strip fumble turned the whole thing around.

The Broncos looked terrible yesterday. I wasn't very impressed with the way the Steelers offense played either. I'll take the Texans to beat the Bengals, but the other game will be a toss-up. Whoever comes to M&T will have hell to pay. The Steelers already know this.

Okay, we are going to make it to the AFC finals in New England. I don't think that the Texans want to come back here to play us. Neither do the Steelers. The Broncos better Tebow down and pray that they aren't the ones that we face. I like our chances to make the Super Bowl. All we need is for Ray Rice to go up to N. E. and run for 189 yards.

What if he only gets 188?

Then the Patriots win 63-0.

If he gets 189 yards though, then the Ravens win 38-3.

Hey congrats you guys on a great season.I said a while back when you guys played the 49ers which by the way was a great game by both teams i thought was a Superbowl preview and still feel that way..I hope Cinci wins next week so we dont have to play both the Steelers and possibly you guys, either way with our soft D it's going to be tough even with home field...

Hey Thanks :-) I am a Pats fan but not a homer and i have to ask myself..How does a team with no defense get the #1 seed

I would love my team to win it all and without Tom Brady they probably do not make the playoffs but i am probably my teams biggest critic..I would glady trade some offensive prowess for a defensive team more like the Steelers or Ravens..I am a purist and would rather watch a 10 -7 hard fought physically brutal game than a 70 point shootout like i saw yesterday with my team going down 21 points at home before we started to play.I am glad we won but the Pats to me raise more questions going into the playoffs than they have answered... The game has changed and some of these lame fouls being called has taken away a certain physicality that makes this a great game..
