I Might Have Found Something Good (Ray Rice Football Card)

6 posts in this topic

So I was at this flea market to day and I bought a Ray Rice football card with the number 39 on his jersey.

I know he had the number 39 for the preseason of his rookie year.

Any guesses how rare and, or valuable it is?

I found one not too long ago as well, probably over the summer sometime. Im guessing, since its a rookie card, with his rookie number, it'd be pretty valuable. I'm sure the longer he plays in the NFL, and the better he plays, (more yardage, TD's etc. etc.) it'll be more valuable. Not sure if its rare or not though.

It's probably not of much value right now, but I'd seal it in plastic or something and keep it tucked away. Give it about 10 years and it'll have some value. Give it 20 years and it could be worth a whole lot more if he ends up being a Hall of Famer.

The bottom fell out of the card market about 10 years ago, hat being said there are still some that are worth more then others. Try here
which is free and if I recall Beckett is the one my stepson always used, he was big into cards
