be fitting if it goes to the baltimore ravens in the Colts Stadium

If there ever would be a perfect setting for a team of destiny the Baltimore Ravens could very well fit that mantra.

Sometimes the stars just align and this another one with a legend presenting the trophy to the winning team from the same place where he and Johnny U lit it up. /Superstition

This is shaping up to be a fairy tale come true for the Ravens , if they can pull it off.

I'd be inclined to say that we're the "Cinderella Team" , but when I think of guys like Suggs , it just doesn't quite fit.

OMG! We have just GOT to win it all this year! The scenario could not be better!

In Indy, trophy presented by Raymond Berry. This is like it was written in the stars this year.

C'mon Ravens! Get it done!

I doubt it will mean a lot to the Ravens' players ... they have no connection to the Colts in that way and they don't really feel it. You can tell that whenever they play the Colts.

That said, how could you write something better than that if it came to pass? The Baltimore Ravens handed the trophy by Baltimore Colt Berry in Indy's stadium after the the 2nd worst season they've ever had. I was so hoping they were worse than 1991 (1-15), but I'll take this too. That's almost poetic.

This story says that one reason they like Berry as the guy to hand over the trophy is that they know he won't drop it :

Maybe the Ravens should bring him in to give our receivers a few pointers.

Raymond Berry is to present the Lombardi Trophy at the SB in Indy

"As per tradition, following each year’s Super Bowl, a legendary player from the host city’s franchise presents the Lombardi Trophy to the victorious team”.

The only problem of course is that Berry never played for Indy. In fact he was retired over 15 years before the Colts moved.

Since the criteria is legendary, not HOF, could they not find one player from the past 27 years of playing football in Indy to honor a local hero rather than someone from Baltimore??

The crazy thing is that the people in Indy feel the same way.

Well... technically he did play for the host city's franchise, he just didn't play for the host city's franchise while they were in the host's city.
