I think the biggest kudos should go to Ray Rice for getting named the starting running back. He was 3rd in the fan voting if I recall correctly, which means the coaches and players are the ones that bumped him up to the starter. So that means a lot when the coaches and players feel you're the best player at your position in the conference, so much so that they overcome the fan vote.
