Lets Say Something Good About A Player For A Change

Pollard has been having a good season. He just seems to be playing faster then he did earlier in his career. "Go Hit Somebody 310" is the class he teaches at BSHU.

Pollard has proven me wrong about his coverage skills. He's done great.

Of course you all know I love Yanda.

Leach is an animal. He's a truck.

Ricky Williams has ran the ball pretty well. Great spell for Rice.

Webb is a freak.

Birk is doing well for a 35 year old center.

McClain has proved his doubters wrong. Who still wants Ellerbe to start? :P

Webb has been ballin
I hope he's in the probowl this year, but it'll probably be Revis/JJ/Haden sadly.
Hopefully he gets paid and can carry the performance onto next year.

Webb NEEDS to be in the Pro Bowl.

I'm holding out hope that the coaches have noticed him this year and will get him in.

- Joe Flacco is Tall
- Joe Led a 92 Yard Drive against Pittsburgh in Pittsburgh
- Rice is Short
- Ray Lewis Is A Machine
- Suggs is Awesome
- John is the Better Harbaugh

I am hoping he will be too busy prepairing for another game.

Yea, our defense is a point of interest around the league, so I'm sure Webb will get some votes. At least I'm hoping

Me too, but it'd be nice for him to have that under his belt. If we go to the Super Bowl, but Webb is voted into the Pro Bowl but obviously doesn't play, is that added to his NFL resume still?

Yes, I believe they still get that recognition.

Yeah. Quarterbacks skip the game all the time. For instance, Brady was voted in in 2007, but was obviously too busy with something else to play in the game.

He should have just focused on the Pro Bowl :)

Ayanbadejo has been pretty good in passing situations. Good to see him finally get his 1st sack. This year, he's been our 3rd best ILB after Lewis and McClain.

Jimmy Smith gets picked on a lot, but for every play we see him get beat, there are tons of plays where he blankets the WR.

In my opinion Torrey Smith is the MVP of our offense. We're probably not even making the playoffs without him.

Our Offensive Line is protecting Joe way more than they get credit for. We're 12th in Sack Rate, and that's with an offensive predicated on long developing routes and a QB with a slower release.

We no longer employ Frank Walker. That's always a reason to celebrate.

Our team gets a sack every 16 plays on average.

We allow the 2nd fewest yards per rushing attempt to the left side in the NFL. Thanks Suggs and Ngata.

We're much more disciplined as well. We get less than 6 penalties a game. Oakland gets more than 10. We turn the ball over less than once a game and we have a 2/1 turnover margin.

Only Carolina, New Orleans, Philadelphia, Oakland, and Buffalo's Offenses are more balanced than ours.

Everyone knows Torrey Smith is fast. Knowing Maryland's football program and it's struggles, I wondered if he had enough coaching in college to catch on to the route-running aspect at the NFL level. I really like what I've seen from him. Will be exciting to see how much better he can get with a full offseason, and not so much pressure to prove himself since I think we can all agree hes solidified his starting spot for this team.

I'm also really impressed with Marshal Yanda and Ben Grubbs. They've really been the MVP's of the offensive line.

And while I can't say Ed Reed has been having his usual season, I really think he's laying low and waiting to pounce in these playoffs! CAN'T WAIT for that!
