Seems like fair market value, for what i see in Flacco. Denver traded Kyle Orton this year. Mediocre guys get traded all the time.
Kyle Orton was released, not traded. Shows how closely you pay attention.

I have to believe that anyone who thinks Flacco is a bad QB must be getting their opinion from playing video games or listening to blowhard game announcers and not from WATCHING the games. I watch 5 games every Sunday + any other days a game is on and can tell you Flacco is better than MOST of the other QB's in this league. If we lost him it would hurt. Maybe these same complainers are not old enough to remember before 2008 but besides 1 good year of McNair our offense was pathetic and hard to watch. Does Flacco look inconsistent? Yes, but he also is constantly having to get used to new WR and TE's. Plus a terrible OC who doesnt seem to see eye to eye. It's hard to learn from someone you don't like "Cam".

For a return specialist, you're insane. Orton would straight up die in the AFC North so comparing him to Flacco doesn't even make sense. There is other things to QB than straight numbers man.

Like what. Orton not to long ago, carved up our defense from the AFC north. Not for nothing, but to downplay a return guy that will almost guarantee you good field position every time he returns a football, is insane. Don't look, but his stats last year mirror Flacco's this year.

But which pick? Does he mean any pick, like a 5th or 6th round pick, because it sounds like he'd take whatever. I believe at one point he said he'd take Thomas straight up for Flacco. Seems to me like it would put us in the same position as 2000-2006, great line anchored by a pro-bowl, possible HOF left tackle, pro bowl running back, elite defense, and no quarterback. And I think we missed the playoffs in line 03, 05, and 07, or something like that. Which is why the whole thing makes no sense to me, but whatever, the guy wants Flacco gone, and I suppose he has his own idea in his head about how valuable Joe is both to us and the Browns.
No i said first round and Josh.

I gotta be frank with you; When it comes to Joe, nothing you talk about will ever happen. Flacco will be in Baltimore as the starting QB for a lot of years. Just give up.

Who cares, really? He still average. He's not a bad quarterback not good just average. He can stay as long as he doesn't slip to below average.

Orton carved up our defense when they sat back because of how badly we were pumping them....

Apparently there are people outside of a select number within the Ravens fan base that think that Joe Flacco is a good quarterback.

Terry Pluto of the Cleveland Plain Dealer admits that most people don't see Flacco as being an elite quaterback, but he argues that Joe is in the top ten and believes that the Browns won't get anywhere until they begin to draft players that are at least as good as Baltimore's #5.

Im very happy with out QB, who barely missed a pass today even when NO WRs would step up

Ray Rice saved us today

12-4 back to back years, 2011 division winners...shoooooottt man, Joe Flacco kicks butt

I think Cleveland knows who their better QB is. We were complaining when McCoy was put back in the Pit game, now Wallace has a chance to actually beat them.

Cleveland can look for a new QB this year, but they'll have to look outside Baltimore. Flacco with a solid performance despite some questionable playcalls.

Ray rice more rushing yards than Flacco passing in a must win games pretty much sums up the season. RR carries this team on offense.

yeah Rice had a great game, he saved us...but I can point out time during this game and during the season we had no run game, and Flacco had to bring us back or we had no run game and not one of our WRs will or can step up and make plays

I feel bad for Flacco, he missed 4 passes all day...but had barely any yards cause he had no one to throw to

That may be true, but Flacco was on the spot, efficient, and mistake-free. Plus, I'm sure he'd have gotten more TDs and yardage if Cam's playcalling wasn't so conservative and redundant. Sure, we squeezed out of there alive, but barely.
You see, Ray Rice can dictate how he runs his plays because RBs are much more dependent on themselves and the OL to make plays. Basically, he has to improvise what holes he sees on the field. Which is easy since he's an amazing RB as well.

A QB like Flacco has to depend on his entire WR core to make the catch and run the route, PLUS Cam Cameron blaring out his redundant plays.

Basically, give Flacco credit. He's done the best job possible with what little he can work with.

Actually the pass was off his fingertips not exactly an easy catch. Ray Rice with any quarterback---- reminds me of Blaine gabbert and MJD in Jacksonville.

Neither was Pitta's TD catch, or Dickson's grab when he got decked.

Rather than admit the WR let Joe down, you'll defend the WR. lol

Yeah, gotta watch out for that Jaguar offense. That's dangerous.

Evans should have caught that pass, point blank.

No he shouldn't. You act like that ball hit any part of his palm. It was a fingertip grab. That was not exactly a pass that receivers catch at a high percentage.

Look again....he actually slows up for some apparent reason, then re-gears and speeds up. Even with the odd change of speed, the ball clearly hits both hands. That needs to be caught!!! You astound me!

No point in carrying out a senseless "debate".

On another note, Joe's post-TD fist pump looks to have evolved.

Love the negative rep please give me more. Flacco is average! Ray Rice earned his pay day. There better be no excuses in the contract negotiations between Rice and this organization. We might witness a running back getting more than a QB. LOL negative rep might reach 1,000,000,000. Cleveland you can have Flacco. Give me Joe Thomas and a first rounder.

Slowing up on a route when a defender is behind you, is so you get the defender guessing sometimes. It's also a way to get separation depending on who is faster.

That ball was a hard catch, and then you don't ever go back to him......wow.....Great quarterback!!!!!! Glad we have a guy that can hit 4 receivers week in week out and we still win.

Where would we be without RR.

Dude, I know all about starting and stopping to keep DBs "guessing". You even stop short while the ball is in the air (especially on obvious over throws) to draw a PI. I am talking about the speed change while the ball was in the air. Bottom line, that ball should have been caught. Your flippy floppy attitude towards Flacco is all the amusement I need. THANKS!!!
