Ravens @ Bengals

Forcast calls for mid 40's, 40% chance of rain, and sustained 20+ MPH gusts of winds.

*Hopefully* this favors us, since our running game should be in a better position than the Bengals, allowing us to get the lead early, and forcing Dalton to throw with the gusts pushing the ball around. But with Cam as our offensive coordinator...

Flacco has to win it for us because Mike Zimmer said they will be spying Ray Rice on every play.
the bengals will definitely want to keep the ball in Flacco's hand and make him beat them with his passing! to be honest...i would too! but...i believe that Flacco will play superbly today and that our offense as a whole will be clicking on all cylinders. i believe that our defense will play with great pose, character, energy and fire in order to match and exceed the intensity of the bengals excitement and stadium hype because they have been here before. they are experienced and battle tested!

Gooooo Ravens!

Happy New Year everyone!

I just have this feeling about today's game.

Everyone is hatin' on us, picking the Bengals for the upset. I think we come out on fire this game!

Let's go Ravens!

Hopefully our illustrious offensive coordinator sees this as an opportunity to design some fakes to move the spying LB and get our TEs/slot receivers open over the middle... but that might just be wishful thinking.

I feel the same way, but in a Bengals fan perspective. I don't like how everyone is getting on the Ravens because they've struggled on the road.. Pretty much saying that the Bengals have a good chance of winning because they are 3-4 on the road this year. All that is doing is giving them extra incentive to prove those people wrong. I worry about this game just as much as you guys do, but on different sides. I also worry because it's such a young team, you just don't know what to expect out of them, especially in games with this much at stake. I'm just really glad this game is in Cincinnati, that makes me feel (a little) better. No idea what will happen though, no idea. Will be interesting, for sure.

Even if you guys lose you'll still make playoffs, watch

The monster D hasn't looked so fearsome lately. They need to step up and stop this young offense.

And they will.

Joe Flacco will win this game for us. Something like he did steeler fashion
I hope your right. I agree with you.

Zimmer has already said he's stacking the line and ganging up on Ray Rice.

Time to be the QB we know you can be Joe. Cincy is going to try and shove it onto your shoulders. Channel the Joe we saw during the Steelers games this year and get it done!

Every team we face every week of every year puts their main focus on stopping ray rice.. He's just that good..
Nothing new here

there is nothing left to be said!

IF....Joe is a "pretty damn good Q" (as he says about himself)....then he will get the job done today...on the road in Cinci...IF...the bengals try to force him to beat them with his arm. we just need the WRs and TEs to make plays for him all over the field and especially on those needed downs!

Go Get'em Joooooooooe!

Shayne Graham is inactive and Cundiff will be Kicking. Oh I hope Cundiff is healthy otherwise this will most likely cost us the AFC North if he happens to miss any FGs, especially ones that Graham would have made.

Looks like both Doss and Laquan Williams are active for the Bengals. Hopefully with Evans, Pitta, Dickson, Torrey, Doss, and Williams, we'll see Joe's magic like we did against the Steelers.

I just pulled up the weather forecast for Cincinnati...
Winds: West 20 to 30 MPH with gusts up to 50 MPH.
This would seem to make passing difficult but Flacco has a strong arm and I think he will be okay. Also this may aid the Ravens in that Dalton does not have a strong arm, he's known for accuracy but the wind could affect that. If the Bengals are turned into a one dimensional team that may favor the Ravens defense.

We have play making Veterans like Lewis,Reed,Suggs,Ngata and Webb and we're also 3rd in the NFL in total defense. Plus its vs a rookie who is gonna be under pressure regardless if we blitz!
True, I was getting at the fact that our defense was so embarrassed by SD that we aren't considered elite anymore and people think Ray and Ed are on the downside of their careers. We'll show everyone today
