ESPN Baltimore Raven Forum

Not sure if anyone has ever ventured over to this forum, but I don't know why anyone would waste their time posting anything on it. I suppose this is what happens when a board is not moderated, its nothing but senseless, unintelligent squabbles back in forth between Ravens and Steelers fans. The Steeler fans their are beyond obnoxious and use no logic in any argument, and truth be told, the Raven fans over there just strike me as ill informed as well. If you're looking to see how fortunate we are at this board, just take a quick visit over there.

Yeah, the quality of conversations there...no comment. I mean, sure, repeat threads here annoy me, but at least the majority of posts here aren't nearly as crass and classless as some of the things they've got there...

There are more Steeler and Bengal fans than Raven fans on the boards over there. Any attempt at serious conversation is ruined pretty quickly by an opposing team's fan.

Me too man, when football season is over, it means no more internet for me, save youtube for music and research for school/job

Honestly, it has some of the best conversations then. You dont see all the "one post wonders" and uninformed fans. Just the same 10-12 old timers.

this board is my home! i rarely even visit other teams (our opponents) websites. i believe that i may have ventured over to the steelers board perhaps 2-3 times and that was just to see some of the crap that they speak about our Ravens. other than that...this board is home for me!

Its weird...I used to kind of give those who blog and spend time on forums a hard time (who'd a thought...I gave someone a hard time? Ha!), but now....this place has turned into an obsession. I guess, as my wife has said, I could have a worse obsession

I visit every so often. I can't believe it took me 4 years to join the forums. My roommates had enough of me just reading the posts and finally convinced me to create an account. I'm glad i did.

I don't like censorship in general, but most unregulated forums (especially sports ones) are terrible. It's all racist slurs and poorly-spelled personal attacks. Apparently this is what people are like when they don't have to pay repercussions for their thoughts. This applies mostly to NFL.com.

Yea im more active in the offseason just because I get sick of some of the newer fans. I feel like a VeT around here now lol. Go figure tho no sites can compare to ours and the fan base I feel is more intune with the team then most.
