I can't believe I just watched that, lol! Man. All those flags for automatic first downs there at the end! If those were against us this forum would be vaporized.
Yea, we'd pretty much be well into the Nuclear option if it was us. :D

Miami is look good though; they run the ball well so with horrific Pats defense I think there's a chance....

I also like what Matt Moore's been doing. Solid, solid production.

I love how people are tweeting about how the Colts still get the 1st pick with a LOSS against Jacksonville next week... thanks Captain Obvious! Now what happens if they beat the Jaguars, where do they go then?

Depends on what the Rams do.

does a win sat night lock up a 1st 2nd or 5th seed?
Well we are already a lock for the wildcard at the worst but if we win Saturday and the Steelers lose then we are guaranteed at least the 2nd seed. GO RAMS!

yea but what im wondering is if we win is it a definite 1st bye/ 5th seed (depending on week 17 n pit)?

Anyone know how this loss affects the Colts in the draft order right now? Colts still #1 at this point, Rams, or Vikings?
Still colts at this point because they have 13 loses (Rams and Vikings only have 12 at this point). However, if they come out tied they are first going to look at Strength of Schedule from last year. Rams have the lowest SOS from last year so they would get the #1 pick .. then Colts ... Then Vikings.

If Pitt looses (I'm not counting on it) and the Ravens win then it could mean a day of rest and less anxiety for the finale in Cincy. They would clinch not only the division with a win and a Steeler loss but also the 2nd seed. Here's hoping. Once again I am not counting on the Steelers losing but their offense has looked just horrible for quite some time now; even with BR. It could happen; just not counting on it.

I think only the 1 and 2 seeds get 1st round byes if that is what you are asking.

We'd still play hard in hopes of a NE loss in week 17 and then we'd get #1

If we win out...we get the 2nd seed no matter what happens with everyone else I believe. If the Patriots lose a game or two, then we can only move up to the 1 seed.

True but it would still mean a lot less anxiety. With some key guys hurting a bit that bye is looking more and more important.

Depends on what the Rams do.
Right, well Rams play Steelers so that's a loss so Rams will stay at 2 wins, but who would have a tiebreaker for the # 1 Pick, Colts or Rams?

People wrote off the Colts tonight, and look what they did... Any given Saturday.

They have Bradford so all they need is a good momentum leading to the offseason; winning against Pitts would greatly boost their mentality ready for next year....

I'm sure that a healthy running game helps, but I wouldn't say that it's the only underlying reason for his success. I look at the 3 game stretch where Bush had 53 carries for 140 yards, averaging a 2.6 YPC, Moore had 4 TDs to 1 INT and held an average passer rating of 102.7. He's not a world beater, but I believe that he's a solid starting QB.

There's still really low % ways we could get #3 or #4 seed, but not #6. If we win Sat and Pitt loses, we definitely are #1 or #2 seed and we lock down a 1st round bye along with AFC North Championship and Undefeated at home.

This thread is hot?

I dozed off at the half. Hope I didn't miss anything.

Nah nah .. it's all good. You just missed Santa. I was apparently good this year.

Oh well. All I ever get is that stocking full of coal crap anyway. And usually it's not even enough for a decent barbeque.

Nice job Colts!

I think Miami can get the job done but I wouldn't put any hope on the Rams. I think (could be wrong) that if they lose tomorrow they now have the #1 pick.

That's okay though. Miami takes down the Pats, and we just have to win out for that #1.
