I also heard a brief mention about the Ravens maybe having some interest in Randy Moss on the radio. I don't believe they would bring anyone in at this point in the season but thought it was worth mentioning.
I heard that rumor as well on 105.7 the fan. But I haven't seen any sources that even mention the notion. I don't know why Moss would even be an option. He's more of a deep threat. And unless they expect Boldin to miss more than just 2 weeks. The move wouldn't make any sense.

I agree. Rumors are rumors. They don't have to make sense. :)

Don't be surprised if we sign D. Mason!!
I hope not. Mason is no more than a #3 at this point in his career and his attitude might not flow with the chemistry the offense has been able to establish so far this season.

Doubt it. Mason has a history of making his voice be heard. Right now I don't know if we need any shift in chemistry going into the post season. A dynamic that Mase could change.

Wow, this was unexpected... umm, I really want to hear a lot of LEEEEEEEE chants at The Bank on Saturday. Oh, and yeah, let's get that 1st Round Bye!!! Maybe Tandon Doss or LaQuan get some reps :)

Don't be surprised if it happens. Mase's comeback route, outside of the chechdown to Rice was Flacco's security blanket.

Honestly, I doubt Tandon Doss even sees the field. I think at this point, we are better off with Lee, Torrey, our TE's, Ray, and even Laquan than we are with 4 WR.....

I was listening to the radio also, I think fans were screaming about Moss, that was it.

No way it happens. No way we sign Mase either.

We did get a kicker though!

Yeah, the run game just got real important in cincinnati.

Yeah. Rice > Evans and Doss.

Doss not even being active for games is another reason cam and john need to get fired. They blow a 4th rounder and dont even use him. I still think he is a better reciver then Torey. If doss had not only been active but the targets torrey has had, he would at the very least have more catches.

Just food for thought here, but Torrey Smiths target to completion percentage is 1% better than Larry Fitzgeralds :D

before i cry, "bring Mason back!" which wouldn't be that bad of a thing because he knows this offense and had great chemistry with Joe Flacco. imo..his journeyman thing with the Jets and Texans dissolved badly however, we still have 2 solid WRs in Evans and T. Smith along with our killer TEs...Dickson and Pitta so all is not lost in our passing game! besides...these last 2 regular season games would be a GREAT time for Tandon Doss to FINALLY see some action! L. Williams will do nicely as well and ohhhh...don't forget Rice out of the backfield for a few checkdowns. lol! the Ravens passing attack (IF Cam doesn't screw it up) should be alive and well on Saturday.

Would love to see Doss or Williams get a shot to step up to the plate. Im sure the sucess that Smith has had should boot their confidence. Going up against one of the best past D's in the leauge sooo couldn't pick a bettter team to get your feet wet with.

the Ravens passing game should be fine with Torrey, Lee, our 2 TEs Dickson and Pitta and a Tandon Doss siting. let's go!

Yeah this injury sure flew under the radar. The first round bye is really important now so we can rest some of our guys who need that extra time and can have fresh legs going into the playoffs. I also want to hear LEEEEEEEE chants, maybe his first TD in purple? I think we'll see more 2 TE sets now but if we get a comfortable lead maybe we'll see Doss or Williams.

Then Fitz is having a horrible year by that metric.

Not really. The Cardinals just haven't been efficient at getting him the ball.

Against the Browns, the Ravens should dominate. The loss of Boldin wouldn't be a issue but against the Bengals is another story.

Hopefully who ever steps in Boldin place can get up to speed with Flacco rather quickly.

I'm in favor of the Tandon Doss breakout.

I say Doss all day.I've been waiting for this kid to get a chance all year.He showed some skills in preseason and I'm eager to see what Evans,Smith,Doss and Pitta/Dickson can do.

Yeah, I really want to see Doss in there regardless of whether or not we actually need him these final two games. Another WR may be called upon in the playoffs if Anquan isn't 100%, and it's likely that he won't be.

When I first heard about this, my first thought was "will we resign Mason?" I don't think it's necessary, in my opinion we have enough talent to make up for the loss. This is a next man up situation and, whether this means more time for the TEs or more time for the young WRs, I think whoever is plugged in to fill that spot will do just fine. Regardless of who gets the nod, Lee Evans has to step up.
