a4th year QB thats for these four years has above average to top 10 qb stats and has the most career wins in his first four season ever, possibly win a superbowl this year, and probably wont ask us to break the bank is as close to a lock as you will see...

Unless something goes horribly wrong next year, eg 10tds 20 ints and he gets benched..

Per NFL Network: The Chargers are keeping Norv Turner and GM AJ Smith for the 2012 Season.

Don't have a source because they are airing press conferences and they broke away to say that the Chargers are keeping both and then went to break. So We can close this thread now

Maybe now a College guy comes in, or the Saints/Packers OC who doesnt run the offense since their HC does, it would be a upgrade for them, and best of all for us, they are working with elite QBs so they may help get the best out of Flacco

Not yet, he is interviewing in Miami. Rotoworld even has it as a "Report" and nothing is confirmed. Like I said he is in Miami interview for that Head Coaching Position.

I think people here are overly optimistic about Norv not getting a HC position elsewhere. I don't think he's as desperate.

As much as I would love this to happen... let's put it this way... Jaguars are looking at Schottenheimer for HC position. Cmon.
IF Norv's employment status opens up I'm certain there will be many a low viewership team with an open coaching vacancy that would love to have him.

I know everyone wants to be Raven but I just do not see his market value decreased enough for him not to want to remain a HC elsewhere.

The sad thing is that would actually be more effective than Cam.

Mike Sherman might be the best available option to replace Cam now. Who else would be worth looking into?
