Will We Fail To Seal A Division Win Again?

16 posts in this topic

Now that the steelers gave us a break, the bengals game in cinci is looking like the defining game. The bengals will also be fighting for a spot so they will be playing for their lives, at home.

Personally, I don't trust this coaching staff to get the team ready for the game.

First, I am thanking the 9ers and Jim Harbaugh. They helped themselves but they helped us more.

We can't squander this. I can't see the Ravens losing at home. This team is only half itself on the road this year but we are full tilt at home so Cleveland shouldn't have much of a shot. Now Cincy... But it is against a QB we have seen that is a rookie. We should be better against him the second time around.

By the way, I think the Steelers should get Ben out of there!

I don't know, but God Bless the Niners!!!!

This gives us somewhat of a reprieve and a solid chance at the #2 seed. You gotta believe we win these last two games.

The exciting thing is that most likely we will have one game standing in our way of a division title and first round bye. I can't fathom us losing to the Bengals under those circumstances.

They should, but they are not and their sieve of a line is letting him get smashed more and more. Keep him in there!

I think we will be all over the Browns and Bengals for the last two games. Now that we know it's going to come down to the end of the season, our coaches had better be planning for the Bengals.

That game against Cincinnati week 17 sure is scaring me a hell of a lot more right now than it was 48 hours ago...

At least with the Steelers dropping the game, we'll still get a first round bye if we win our last two games.

IF....IF.....IF....the Ravens don't look at this steelers loss (after they stunk up the joint last night versus the chargers) as a special "gift" that was just dropped in their laps and then go and finish off these last 2 teams (browns/bengals)....they don't deserve the AFC North Division Crown...period!

LET'S GO RAVENS!!

Well, the Steelers have a depleted team right now. Moore went down. Woodley reinjured his hamstring. Ben did not look good by the end of the game. They better worry about winning their next 2 games.

Browns are @ Home. We'll be fine there.

Cincy @their place could be tough but I just can't see us not going all out that last game of the season with a bye week and top seeding on the line.

We can clinch the division next week with a win and a Steelers loss (unlikely)

We can also clinch a first round bye with a win, a Steelers loss, and a Texans loss.

As I stated above, with all their injuries right now, not sure that is as unlikely as it seemed just last week.

Admittedly, the Rams did play the Bengals hard, so it's certainly looking more likely now than it was 24 hours ago. And it helps even more that the game is on Saturday, so that's even more short rest for the banged up Steelers.

So while the odds have improved of it happening, I'd still put it at unlikely.
