Long Term Perspective

We do have one of the best football teams in the NFL. The problem is, we have another one right in our division. And they are so frustratingly resilient.

When you complain about Flacco or Harbaugh, realize the challenge that they face. We don't get to play in the AFC West, we can go 12-4 or 13-3 and lose the division. We've gotten edged out by the best team in the NFL over the past three seasons, and now we just have to hope it doesn't happen again. It would be nice if there was reseeding in the playoffs so that a team as good as the Steelers or the Ravens wouldn't have to play three road games.

Don't worry, man. We just got to follow the logic of the people on this board and get rid of Flacco and Harbaugh despite the fact that they are the only head coach-quarterback combo to have made the playoffs in their first four years and everything will be alright.

So, don't worry, when we follow the logic of the people who overreact to a loss on this board, everything will be good when we get rid of Flacco and Harbaugh.

All is not lost, that being said, I don't think I'm going to watch the game tonight so someone is going to have to fill me in on how it went.

I just think there's something wrong with being upset about a 12-4 record (if we win out). It sucks that we might have found a new way to lose the division to the Steelers, but we're 10-4. If someone had said at the beginning of the season that we'd go 12-4 and sweep the Steelers, we would have happily taken that. We just weren't thinking that the Steelers would only lose one other game.

The Steelers will probably go 12-4 or 13-3 this season, and I would like to think that the Ravens will win out. That's 48-16 or 49-16 between the Ravens and Steelers in the past two seasons. Pretty crazy time for the AFC North, lots of wins.

Don't doubt the Bengals or Browns.. we could easily be 10-6

Yea, I'm not going to either. I'm not interested in wanting to watch another team beat the Steelers just to hope that we could end up with the second seed. My mind is kind of set on the 5th seed at this point

We have beaten the browns 7 straight time and have a 18-7 record against them. Look, I know we got crushed but that doesn't meant that all of a sudden the Ravens are finished and it all over.

He was just saying don't underestimate them. It's a good mindset to have. If Wallace starts, the game could be closer than the first match-up, Seneca gave us fits in 2010. Luckily, we see them in Baltimore where we're seemingly another team entirely but I'm prepared for anything.

It wasn't too hard to fathom. They have had a cake schedule. But so did we, except we didn't take care of the cake part.

I'm going to be furious if the Steelers win another game they don't deserve to win, like they do so much. I don't want to see Steeler Refs or Steeler Magic or San Fran doing something so outrageously stupid that would only happen against the Steelers. We all know what I'm talking about. I won't watch, but I will come to this board at midnight and gauge the reaction to see if it turned out well or not.

I was so mad at the Browns for putting Colt McCoy back in the game when they played the Steelers, because I really felt like Seneca Wallace was about to get it in the end zone.

A 12 - 4 record is more than unlikely after this season with how this team seems to play (Or lack there of) on the road and knowing the last game is IN Cincinnati.

Its a 24 hour rule... I still got time to be pissed. The only long term perspective I'm getting is that Cam might be canned shortly.

Well 11-5 possibly. That Bengals game is still looming even if the Steelers do lose tonight.

Bengals will be a force to reckon with in the next few years. A playoff contender currently, plus they potentially have 4 1st round picks in the next 2 years. It already frightens me that the Ravens will have to compete constantly with the Steelers AND the Bengals
