Browns @ Ravens On Christmas Eve

They can't stop the run as Rice had over 200 yards on the ground. Ray Rice has to run like a man possessed and of course - protect the ball and we win.

Almost lost to the Browns once

The Colts also outplayed them. If anyone but Painter was playing, Pittsburgh would have lost that one too.

I don't even care about this game.

They'll beat the Browns and everyone and their mother will act like they're Super Bowl contenders again. Totally ignoring what happened last night and ignoring the truth that they are NOT Super Bowl contenders.

Yeah, let's act like beating a team who hasn't made the playoffs since God knows when is a great thing and forget the fact they got curb stomped last night. Haven't seen a beating like that since 07'.
Well, not beating the Browns won't help matters, right?

The team NEEDS to man up these last 2 weeks and win by whatever means necessary. If Flacco throws the ball 10 times on Saturday night then so be it, who cares. We NEED that #2 seed in the worst way, and frankly if we blow it because of losing to Cleveland and Cincinnati I wont even know what to say or do. Harbaugh, Cameron, and Pagano better come out with some damn legit game plans for the next two weeks.

Joe better shaves his Fu Manchu mustache or Suggs will rock him to the ground..

A clean shaved man will win games....

Lets go with the basic gameplanning as usual...

Priority:

1) Rice must have 25+ carries
2) Spread offense and no hurdle attack: 2 TE sets and 3WR with Boldin in the slot and more intermediate, comeback, and short routes. Importantly, adjust your attack according the given defense.
3) 1 two punch Rice/Ricky to take the pressure off zone coverage and Flacco.

Now that the Pittzburger Squeelers lost, I can feel hope that we will beat the Browns and Bengals to end the season in first in the AFC North. Who knows? Maybe Ben Worthlessburger will be too hurt to be a factor in their last 2 games ending up with them losing both of them? Stranger things have happened in the NFL.

Since he is hurt and they know they have the playoff cinched, they may sit him out of those games anyway. Knowing we will probably win out, and not wanting to compound Pig Ben's injury so they can use him in the playoffs, that could be their smartest course of action. In his condition, it Batch may play better anyway.

The Rams D played great against the Bengals. The Rams offense is horrible, they had such good field position that game and couldn't capitalize, and the Bengals scored because of a punt return. Maybe if Bradford plays, who knows, I think the Rams want to get that one GOOD win for PRIDE, and who better than to beat the team that everyone hates. (Besides their bandwagon fans of course.)

Then again, maybe the Saints will be their only good win.

Hey man, me too. I won't get to see this game. Probably not the Bengals' game either unless I get that job I just interviewed for (fingers crossed, toes too lol).

I will be sending all my good vibes though!

MIA is playing hot. They might be able to steal a W from NE. I can't believe we're in such a good position after such a terrible loss.

It all boils down to us winning our games and taking care of OUR business. And that starts Christmas Eve against CLE.

hopefully the run game plays as usual, Seneca is the kind of QB we struggle with sometimes for stupid reasons (Dennis Dixon, Tavaris Jackson etc.) but we should stop the run force the pass and be strong in coverage just need to get up early. As for the other games man a random pitt loss with batch playing along with the texans dropping one would be awesome and not make me worry about needing to beat Cinci but thats extremely doubtful in happening.

Anyone think Ray should rest again this week?
He's not even on the injury report, so maybe not...

Speaking of which, I hope Boldin's knee injury isn't too bad. The offense probably can't afford his loss.

I think the Ravens should seriously consider resting Ray Lewis this week. He admitted that he wasn't 100% last week and it showed. I don't think he hurt the team at all by playing, but I'd rather he get back to 100% or as close as he can get to a point without worrying about aggravating the injury.

We have the Browns at home, we already handled them on the road without Ray Lewis and we'll be able to do it again. The game against Cincinnati isn't going to be nearly as clear cut so if he's going to play in either game, it should be the Bengals game.

I'm worried about Joe keeping the Fu. What if that's what caused the loss to the Chargers ?

If he doesn't want to shave it off , he should at least modify it. Add some bling , to change the luck. This would be a nice look for Joe :
