that #1 seed? We can still get it. Lets finish the rest of our AFCN games with a better execution and planning and good thing can happen!
[/quote]

We can't get the #1 Seed unless NE drops a game. It isn't likely given their remaining games.

We can still get the #2 Seed but we need Pitt to lose. I guess I'll revisit this thread after Monday's game.

There's no way we get #1 now unless NE drops one of their remaining games (and as a truly elite team, they won't). The best we can hope for is #2.

Good thing Houston dropped a game. But, as mentioned, it all means nothing if San Fran can't get it done tomorrow. Shame on our team for playing as pathetic as they did. What more do you want, I'm tired of hearing it, "oh we know we control our destiny and every game is a playoff game from here on out". Well great job guys, you just got killed in a playoff game, way to go. Thanks for making us look like a non-playoff team on national television. It's no wonder why we get no respect.

I still believe, but in years past we have been better on the road. If we get that home field advantage you can gurantee that no one wants to play us. But after tonight, and the other road lossess this year, I can't believe too much if we have to go on the road........yet again...........for the 4th year in a row....................you've got to be kidding me, I THOUGHT THIS WAS OUR YEAR.

it still could be though......COME ON SAN FRAN

We had our chance to get it done. Now we gotta hope someone else does it for us. So honestly, I don't care if we're 5th, 2nd or 1st. We got manhandled.

This was essentially a preview of what we can expect from offenses in the playoffs (Saints, Packers, Patriots).

Home field or not, this team looked awful against a high-powered passing offense.

We better get this done. This team does not know how to get it done on the road, at least this year.

Possible scenarios if we are the #5 seed, probably go to Mile High or back to SD or maybe even Houston, depending on how this all plays out. All of those are tough tough tough venues

While the Steelers still need to take care of their own business tonight and beat the Niners the Ravens can still look back at that awful game they lost to the Jags back on October 24th as the reason why they are in the position they are in now. You simply cannot lose to a team as bad as the Jags are this seasonn when youre a team like the Ravens fighting for homefield and the division and expect it not to come back and bite you at some point. Overall, the game last night for the Ravens was a complete and total embarrassment. It's absolutely inexcusable to go out and play the way the Ravens did with that much on the line. All of the Ravens fans on this board that have been saying on here the last 2 weeks after those great wins over the Browns and Colts that this is a different Ravens team then years past??? Still believe that now after going into San Diego last night with everything on the line on National TV and completely getting outplayed in every single aspect of the game...

We haven't a realistic shot at the #1 seed now. NE knows how to win games it needs to win the regular season.

Our shot at the #2 seed hinges completely on whether the Steelers win or lose tonight. The thought that we swept them and the division is still in their hands sickens me.

LOL, when it comes to championship football this team is a total fraud. They are 3-4 on the road, if blessed with the good fortune of finding themselves as the number one seed again they'll squander it away with a loss against the Bengals.

That's what this team does.

Dud, do you just hit paste on every post? Either bring something new and enlightening to the board or go away!

Well then by all rights you should lose tonight too because your team got beat by a Division opponent in all phases of the game and embarrassed in Week 1 as well. You can't play a game like that vs your division rival and not expect it to come back to bite you right?

Are you seriously bashing the greatest MLB to ever play in the NFL? Did you see some of the hits he made last night? Considering this was his first game-action in 5 weeks, I'll give him a pass.... unbelievable, well not really, considering the source.

So you are dogging one of the greatest, if not the greatest, MLB to ever play the position, on a website dedicated to the team for which he plays? That will garner no respect or sympathy for you, here. You really should reconsider that sort of thing, or do it over at Steelers nation. Seriously.

Even if the Steelers lose tonight, we'll still have to win on the road in Cincinnati week 17. At this point what makes anyone think we'll win that game?
