I'm tried of watching these types of performances. Offense looked flat and uninspired (as usual). No long ball = No passing game since Cam wants to keep things simple.. k.

The defense getting absolutely annihilated like that makes me wonder what Aaron Rodgers would do to us.

I don't care if we win out now. So pissed off.. home field playoffs denied yet again.

I couldn't agree more in each and every way.

I...can't...even...begin...to...imagine. The way we played today, wow...I'm just shaking my head right now at the thought of that

Didn't Taylor take roughly four snaps? You're honestly making the declaration he had better awareness than Joe on a handful of snaps in garbage time?

If we're using a small sample size, I'm pretty sure Joe stepped up to avoid the rush on one of his TD passes and he used his legs on a number of other occasions too.
Its honestly not worth arguing. I made an observation. It's my opinion. That is all.

Last ill say: I know it was a small sample size. I said that. My point though was that it was good to see something good out of an unexpected player in an otherwise uneventful and terrible game. It wasn't meant to bash Joe at all.

If you want worse I dare you to watch NFL network or Espn after this. Oh, the <onslaught> of Raven hate.
we need to stop calling it Ravens "hate." they are speaking the TRUTH! let's see how the Ravens do in Kordell's and Skip's power ranking. i already know where the Ravens will be...and it will be deserved.

I didn't feel like we were that far off early on in this one. Our defense was uncharacteristically bad, that's the problem. Looks like we may be seeing these cats again in January if they somehow make it in...either them or Tebow...oh no...

I don't even know the last time we've been blown out like this. And during primetime! Could it be any worse?

The 2007 season comes to mind.

They just didn't get any penetration. I hate to say this, but I think the team almost needs a sack or a big stop in a game for it to keep its intensity level.

The good news is that the two teams that really shut down the pass rush - the Titans and Chargers - are likely not going to meet the Ravens in the postseason.

The things I hated the most were the lack of pass protection, the lack of Anquan targets, the punt by Harbaugh but mostly the overabundance of blitzes, the coverage of Jimmy Smith, and the lack of pass rush against a banged-up but stout San Diego line.

It was a thorough beat-down but it might help - just like for the Broncos, Packers, and 49ers last week - to get this out of their system and find things to work on.

I'll need to watch some form of bowl game, hockey and/or basketball to get this loss out of my system.

Another stellar job by John Harbaugh and the coaches in preparing the Ravens to play on the road. The Ravens' coaches have to be the worst in the league in making in-game adjustments when the game plan (both offensive and defensive) is not working.

The combined records of the four teams the Ravens have lost to on the road is 25 - 31. We all better hope San Francisco beats Pittsburgh Monday night or we will have no shot at reaching the Super Bowl not playing at M&T.

But you know Tomlin won't allow the Steelers to lay an egg Monday night like the Ravens have done now on four occasions.

The effort tonight was pathetic.

I'd like to forget this asap. Hopefully after the Monday night game this doesn't come back to bite us in the butt.
I don't know what was worse.
1 Billys continued struggles
2 the Chargers scoring on nearly every possession
3 Joe Flaccos INTs (the one to Spikes was an abortion)
4 John not calling a timeout before the half to give the offense a Chance.
5 Cam

It wasn't Ray, wasn't just #22 and Cary on D. It wasn't just Joe. The Players didn't play tonight. Maybe Ray Lewis is only a 2 down MLB now. I never wanted to admit it but he looks a step behind in pass coverage and we all know Ray has lost some steps. Ed took too many chances and needed to play more center field. I know he was trusting his guys but I think he was Int hunting too hard. We never got pressure, never got Rivers off his spot. So Reed needed to stay deep more this game.

Joe, seems to be directly affected by the D. He isn't elite so he can't carry us. I think we have to face that. We didn't win enough battles downfield quick enough to give Joe targets to hit. We got down too quick to keep running Ray even though he had early success. We had to check down too much because the game was out of had by the 3rd. Those picks hurt us because of the time they wasted.

I don't even have to say anything about Cundiff. He has bitten us a few times this year after a great year last year.

#22 is going to take this beating tonight. It's a learning thing and we all wish he didn't learn it now and this way but it is what it is. He's a rook. I still think the kid will be really good, maybe even great in time but he is learning lessons that he didn't get earlier in the year because he wasn't healthy and couldn't beat out the top two CBs. It hurts to watch this. He is taking it on the chin and so is the team. We are hurting badly. All the inconsistency questions are going to start now.

What can you say? If we came in and took out the Chargers then there are no questions but to come in this flat, unless we steal this game, then we are inconsistent. Also, some holes have been exposed and they look large tonight. Ed has to protect #22 better. I can't say that enough. The kid is a rookie and we really really missed Webb.

Wow!

No coaching skills, all one dimensional. Blitz after blitz and no safety help, no play action. Chargers did their job, now we just gotta make sacrifices to every deity u ever heard of for a niners win. Even though, Players were not present at the game and the coaching lack the any abilities to implement different strategies. The only change that i noticed that worked for one play was torreys td , and a few draws i mean switch it up throw in a wildcat play do something. Even putting taylor early in there would have been better then doing simply nothing. O well so it goes sometimes

There's a big difference between having championship pedigree and being a loser. This team doesn't have what it takes to win a championship.

Well, unfortunately this was my first time seeing the Ravens live and it was painful, really painful. I was watching our offense closely and Joe was throwing timing routes at there. Trying to anticipate his recievers and their cuts but it wasn't on tonight. Defense got ate up, Smith, Williams and Pollard, just got mangled. But it's all good, lets make up for it next week.

Not a single player on the defense stepped up. Not a single one. That's my problem. The defense looked horrible. The offense didn't have a chance.
This a 1000 times. When the other team never ....that's right NEVER punts the ball, that says a lot about how well your D played.

One thing I know, we'll probably end up showing up next week and beating Cleveland similar to how we did a couple weeks ago and that is usually how it is. I'm also expecting that most who are complaining now will be back here all happy about how we still can have a Bye, or how we can still win the division... etc when we beat Cleveland.

I don't know where to start...
The whole defense was terrible...
The secondary: Cary kept getting behind his guy, sure, ready to make the tackle.. but i'd rather see a deflection or int... Jimmy just got burnt.. over and over and over
Linebackers: looked like the Bills.
D-Line: No pressure... and gaither was handling everyone ...what the heck
The offense... looked like last years... where were the deep balls? oh wait... right, over/under thrown. =/
Ray rice was lighting it up though, too bad cam doesn't like to see him run the ball.

On the bright side... the titans lost to the colts, not us.

I have serious doubts as to whether this team can win a Superbowl with Joe Flacco
Flacco didn't have a good day but the defense couldn't keep us in this one. Our O-Line wasn't terrific tonight. I expected some INTs with the way he was getting pressured.

Our Offense line was amazing tonight, great run blocking, and Joe had plenty of time all night, it was the one consistent factor all game.

I'm not blaming this loss on Joe, the defense was terrible, and so was the special teams.

Seven sacks = consistent O-line? Hmmm.

Im not putting this all on Jimmy Smith or anything but man i heard he was a great cover corner. He hasn't impressed me at all this year. He had a couple of picks but hes also given up huge plays. It seems like every time its going over his head because he jumps the route and Reed is just staring at him like what the hell?? Anyways we gotta pray for the 49ers to win if they do we can forget this loss and keep moving forward.

Did you watch the game? Joe held the ball for over 5 seconds each time he was sacked, don't blame the line for the QB not getting rid of the ball. He had plenty of time all game.
I'm not saying Joe was perfect. Yes, he should be getting rid of the ball quicker, and if he has to throw it away to avoid a sack he certainly should, but there were times when I thought the line could have given him a little more room to breathe. Joe has issues when he sees nobody open because he's not particularly mobile and he's not the quickest decision marker, but he's a good enough QB to take us places.

And its not just this game, Joe leads the NFL in fumbles, that says one of two things, either he has butter fingers, or he is holding on to the ball WAY to long.
