Jets Gave Mason The Better Chance To Win The SB

What exactly does it say? Mason had two 1000 yard seasons with Flacco and Cam, and in the second one put up better numbers than Boldin (2009) without a Larry Fitzgerald or a Kurt Warner. To me it says Mason was a warrior who, unfortunately, faded away.

I don't think he was dogging Mase, I think it was aimed at our inept offense. He was saying how its sad that our best receiver was cut by two other teams. That's how bad our offense is. At least that's the way I read it.

Mason just defended Flacco on NFL network, said he'd take Flacco over Sanchez in the playoffs. Got to love Mase.

There is no evidence the Ravens offered Mason a contract, but all signs point that he was [b]not[/b] offered a contract. At that point, [i]of the offers he had[/i], the Jets looked like the best choice. What was he to do? He still respects the Ravens more than the Jets.

Think about it, the Jets offered him the league minimum. Don't you think he would have taken the Ravens offer, which at worst case, was the same contract?

He only said that because Jets were the only one willing to give him a contract.

Fell bad for Mase. But he's had a good career. I'm sorta hoping we give him a one day contract and he retires as a Raven.

He looked aged in all his playing this year. He wasn't the same player you envisioned from last year. And he would've hinder the development of our deep ball game.
