Rice signed a 4 year deal so his is up after this season. Flacco signed a 5 year deal. They'll get Rice done first, and then move on to Flacco.

The only way Joe gets away is if his arm literally falls off. We're keeping him. It's Grubbs and Rice I worry about - Rice less so, since he seems like he wants to stay here and Ozzie obviously wants to keep him so they should be able to come to terms. But we all saw what happened when we lost Grubbs - our O-line was disastrous.

But hey: In Ozzie we trust, boys. Remember that.

Joes contract will not break the bank. I think Joe will demand somewhere around Kolb's contract - 6 years - 60 million. I wouldnt be suprise if its under that for he is a team player and give the Ravens a hometown discount considering he is from Jersey.

He'll probably get a 6-7 year $70-80 million dollar deal with the actual value of the contract around 55-60 million so they'll have him until 32-33 years of age and then based on health and ability they'll give him that second big contract afterwards.

Thats a good guess and fair to both partys. His value to this Org. is more than any other. He has the confidence and respect of the players. Can't put a price on that. My personal opinion " He reminds me of another QB in this town a couple years back." Not as polished Yet, but soon to come. Watch how he strides to the field . With the confidence of someone who knows what to do. I for one feel good about the QB position in Baltimore for years to come. Anybody with me?

Just curious, what can we expect to pay Flacco based on market value?

I'm guessing around 6 years 75 mil.

Don't see them letting him walk. The thing though is the Ravens seem to like players playing out their contract before discussing or really negotiating. He will be taken care of if hes patient.
