Yea, Troy Smith & Reggie Bush subscribe to the same facial hair design magazine. But I guess it's better than the magazine that Ty Detmer & Kyle Orton subscribe to: The neck beard.

Look at another rookie who turned out good with a bad first year.
Payton Maning year 1 , 3 win 13 losses. Year 2, 13 wins 3 losses. Give Flacco a break after 4 games he has really only had 1 bad game. Smith is the back up now so no amount of gripping is going to get him his starting job back. It is time to get behind this kid and our team. I am tired of all the negative stuff I see written about many of the players of this team.(like trade Suggs, Heap does not try, Flacco overrated, defense getting too old.)
I have never seen our O-line try as hard as it has in these past 4 games for any of our past qb's, they may not be the best but ive seen 110% effort. That is all you can ask of a team. Ive seen Wr's going up high and fighting for the ball like never before. A young BLOCKING back running over people with the ball and yes a young QB who 6 weeks ago was #3 on the depth chart(yeah the coaches really overrated him by putting him #3)
Ask your self about the 2 teams we lost to are they chumps or quality teams. I would say they are quality teams AND WE ALMOST BEAT THEM. So sit back enjoy this Sundays game and if you cant switch over to golf and stop your whining. All the complaining starting to sound sound like my tired 10 year old.
Go Ravens , Go Bluehens ,Im from DE so I can chear them too :)

I hear the cheerleaders want to include him in their calendar if he shaved his beard and got a bikini wax!
Well, it depends on how you define mobility. In my opinion, mobility is a QB's ability to move around in the pocket and buy time for his recievers down field. Mobile is what Big Ben does, its what Tom Brady sometimes does. And yes Joe Flacco has been mobile. Troy in my opinion hasnt shown the ability to move around in the pocket to buy time for his recievers. He scrambles. I define scrambling as running up field toward the first down marker, in an attempt to pick up yards. Troy is a better scrambler. But Flacco has been more mobile.
thats called pocket presence

Pocket presence is feeling when the rush is coming and knowing when to get rid of the ball or move around to buy more time. But thats just my opinion.

I agree with your definition.

Man lay off, just because someone likes Flacco doesn't mean they only like the Ravens because of Flacco. We've gottne some new fans who followed Flacco, but once they see the rest of the team they'll become Ravens fans rather than just Flacco fans.

But that will never happen if we have ignorant SOBs crashing down on them every time they share their opinion about something.

Besides I doubt that when Manning was a rookie and they were doing so badly that everyone was thinking he was going to be one of the best QBs of our time. I'm not going to try and say that's what is going to happen with Flacco, its too early to call, but the point he made is valid; Manning, Elway both started badly their rookie year and later grew into Hall of Fame QBs and at this point we don't know what is going to happen with Flacco.
I cannot even fathom that you guys think that Troy should be starting. How can you possibly judge Flacco on stats alone.
cuz thats how most people judge troy and by his height and draft position
