Boardwalk Empire S2 Finale *spoiler Alert*

6 posts in this topic

Any fans?

I have to say the finale was pretty epic, but it really hurt to see Jimmy get killed off. He was easily my favorite character along with Harrow.

I don't know anybody who is actually a fan of the death.

Did you guys like it/hate it?

Fantastic finale, best episode of the series

Don't realy rate Michael Pitt as an actor and didn't like the character but it wasn't until it was over that I released I'll miss him from the show. Always the way I suppose, you never miss something until they are gone.
Tim Van Patten is a genius and the whole episode was well directed with the church scene being mixed with other scences. And the trenches fading into the skylight was well done also. Realy nice touch

All set for next season and Margaret could be joining Jimmy after the incredibly stupid move she has made. Stephen Graham does a great job as Al Capone and the actor for Luciano is good too.
I think it'll get even better in Season Three.

The Irish connection didn't realy go anywhere, I thought we'd see more about the New Jersey armoury. Maybe next season but with timeline advancing sure the fighting in Ireland will be over

I don't know man. Jimmy and Harrow were the reasons I watched every week.

Don't get me wrong, I'm still going to watch. I'm very interested to see what direction they go in. But this has to be one of the biggest risk's I've ever seen a TV show take.

I thought there was a chance he actually wasn't going to die, but then he shot him a second time... Didn't think Nucky had it in him.
I think there is going to be two divisions again, especially after the stunt Margaret pulled there at the end, that ruins the whole project right? I don't think they can center the show on Harrow, he was/is suicidal and isn't as interesting or smooth (for lack of a better word) as Jimmy. As of right now, I hate the ending, but I believe they can make it work; I am very curious as to where they go from the finale.

Yeah, thats why I hate this move even more. Harrow was such a cool character. but without Jimmy I don't see him having much of a role anymore, which really is a shame.
