I made a prediction at the beginning of the season I may have been off about the number of games we would win but I'm not about the rest. Ravens vs seahawks in the superbowl. this year is so much like last year its unbelievable . Go Ravens time to break another "never"

First time for everything. 5 in a row, yea we will! That's just what Ravens do!! We will defend our house, and title.

This actually isn't quite true. In the 2010 season we had five straight wins (4 to end the regular season and a playoff win over KC).

But we've never had 5 straight regular season wins.

We've done a lot of things this season that we had not previously done in the Harbaugh era.

both positive and negative things...like losing to the Browns!  Smh!  Hopefully, this will be the first 5 game win streak in the Harbaugh era.  Let's go!

I agree with this. Can't just ignore that because one of the wins came in the postseason. 5 straight is 5 straight.

Just to be sure though, let's win on Sunday.

I'll revisit this! Lets do it this Sunday!

Its time to end the curse!

I thought this might get bumped, haha.

We're breaking this curse man. Home game against the Patriots. We're hot and they're not. Let's do it.

Whoops, didn't bother reading the first page.

But ROH522155 is right, 5 straight is five straight, not really concerned anymore honestly.

Then you missed the premise of the whole thread.... carry on

Most streaks we had this year as stated have not gone through. Why not start a new one?

A 5 game winning streak would be awesome and even better against the Patriots and possibly punching a ticket into the playoffs.

we had so many of these "records" broken this year, so time is for this one to fall on sunday...

Exactly.  I know before losing to the Browns I kept hearing/reading "the Ravens have never lost coming out of a Bye week in the Harbaugh era".  I had a bad feeling that since I kept seeing that, for whatever reason, we were going to lose, and we did.

There was one more similar sort of "good" record that we had that was broken with a loss this year too but I can't remember what it was.

This is the first "Harbaugh Era" record that I've seen brought up that is negative instead of positive, so if it's broken it is good for us.  Given the trend of us breaking these "Harbaugh Era" records this year hopefully we'll do it

For some reason, so many times when we breakthrough new barriers we crash right through the Patriots. Somebody's gotta' do it. It's 5 in a row and 1 to go!

GO Ravens!!! We Got This.

I would love that!  I'm starting to get pumped for this game!  I expect PERFECTION from the Ravens in all 3 phases of the game as they get that needed "W".

Go Ravens!!

Ravens need to win. Patriots want to win. Usually, the team who needs to win beats the team who just wants to win. Hopefully, our need to win will make our will to win stronger than theirs. All I want to hear Joe say after the game is "Veni, Vidi, Vici." That will suffice. We will win and I will stick with 24-23 as the final score but I hope I'm wrong and its a laugher instead.

The planet's are in alignment - We win 5 straight:

Last year when the Patriots were upset by the Chiefs the Ravens handed them another defeat the next week.

Go Ravens!!! We Got This.

If you're a Ravens record, this has been a pretty terrible year for you.

*We'd never lost an opening day fixture under Harbaugh.

*We never lost at home (Steelers and being in a bad spot v Peyton Manning excluded).

*We'd never lost at home to an NFC North opponent

*We'd never lost after a bye week.

*We hadn't lost to the Browns under Harbaugh.

*No Ravens kicker had made a FG longer than 60 yards.

*We'd never had fewer than 3ypc in the running game (I kinda made that one up, but there'll be a number there somewhere and you know what I mean).

*Come to think of it, I remember the commentator of the Vikings game saying we'd never had a snow game at home.

*I'm also willing to bet we never scored three TDs in the last 2:15 of a game as well.

I was hoping to find one more for a perfect 10. :(

Anyway, point is that this has been a season to fade traditional runs. People are talking about Brady not losing two in a row, but when was the last time he did? I'm pretty sure it was to the Cardinals, then us.

Agreed. Meant the Cards, but you are absolutely right. Ravens make miracles happen!

You could say that we haven't won a game since last week....A perfect 10. lol

Poor hack-writers will have to come up with a whole new set of "haven'ts" for next year.
