That's the nice thing about Suggs, he always shows up in prime time. It just used to be that he didn't in the other games. Let's hope we don't get flexed lol!

We wont be getting flexed. I think they have to do it 2 weeks in advance, so its too late now.

the NFL went thru this last week and they decided the Ravens game would not be flexed...it was all over the news because they wanted Brady vs Tebow but Kraft didnt want to move to Sunday night and blah blah blah

Yeah, it was announced on Wednesday of this last week that the Ravens/Chargers weren't going to get flexed. Apparently there was a bit of behind the scene politicing going on (apparently the Patriots didn't want to play in Primetime).

Also, Jared Allen had 3 sacks today.

But certainly I'd say Suggs has to be the front runner for the Defensive MVP right now. He may not lead the league in sacks right now, but he's shown up in primetime and he's gotten so much exposure. Plus he's defined himself as more than just a pass-rusher, like that great interception he had in the 2nd Steelers game.

Yea, Suggs look like the front runner for DPOY. You have to factor in everything, FF, TFL, int's, the whole 9.

Thing about it...it was if he wasnt even try today lol.

I guess I could see why NBC would want that, what with two big bandwagon teams like New England and Denver. But does anyone outside those fanbases want to watch the Patriots embarrass the Broncos? The Patriots will Belichick up the score, and if Tebow can come back from a 50-point deficit in the 4th quarter, I might actually start to believe in him.

What I love is that Suggs says he doesn't care about sacks or DPOY awards. That says a lot about where his head is at. As he continues to go throught this season with that mindset, he will probably win the awards because he isn't playing for those but he's playing hard for something better.

This team is really special. I believe that. The time is now because it might not be the same next year. The vibe will probably be different and some of the role players will be gone next year. Suggs knows the time is now. I love his attitude!

Terrell Suggs has just had his most sacks in a single season with 13.

He has three 3 sack games this year.. i think he has 6 FF on the year and 2 INTS.

DPOY even if he doesnt get the accolade

He's a BEAST this season! He's probably being our best defensive player this year!

Suggs smashing through Gaither to hit Rivers. Repeatedly. Could it get any better?
[/quote]

Could be Suggs holding up Lombardi Trophy with a Ball So Hard University shirt on as he hands the Trophy to Ed Reed with confetti falling everywhere ..... Now it I'm not sure if that could get any better. Lol.

Lol. That would be something. But people are still sleeping on Denver's defense. And I ain't talking about Von Miller. Nobody talks about former pro bowlers like DJ Williams, Dummervil, C.Bailey, Dawkins and the impacts they have had...... Although I'm tired of all the Tebow Talk the ravens would benefit from a Broncos win so I'll pull for them to beat the Pats....

Suggs is having a story book season, that needs to end with a super bowl victory. He has really matured as a player and the new found dedication really is showing.
