Suggs Is Sizzling This Year

Terrell Suggs has just had his most sacks in a single season with 13.

He has three 3 sack games this year.. i think he has 6 FF on the year and 2 INTS.

DPOY even if he doesnt get the accolade

You got it right. He's having a monster year and still is lock down on the run. His sack pace the second half of the year is awesome, if he keeps it up, the numbers can get pretty high.

He was a complete menace again today. Shame about the garbage time score because our D was lights out for the rest of the game.

Yeah, I think we could have held them to under 100 yards of total offense if we would have been a little more aggressive toward the end.

Yeah but we were giving our backups play time, we had Gorrer and Brown out there in the secondary at the end of the game.

Yea, Suggs look like the front runner for DPOY. You have to factor in everything, FF, TFL, int's, the whole 9.

I know but still. We're a top defense and I hate to see such a pointless mark against what was otherwise a great day for them.

Trust me I was just as mad but stats mean nothing as long as we keep piling on the W's and get that 1st seed in the AFC, none of the other stuff matters.

we still have CLE again and SD o-line is abysmal.......Suggs could have 17+ sacks by years end

i think he will beat that next week agaisnt jared gaither and the chargers who throw alot

It would have been four sacks today if Costanzo hadn't held him and driven him to the ground on that one play. Still a red letter day for Suggs.

Well he's a lock for the Pro Bowl. I think they said he was 1st in the AFC in sacks after his first sack, then had 2 more. The guy is a monster. Not getting DPOY would be an upset to me, unless Jared Allen or Demarcus Ware explode these last four games. (Oh, and Jared Allen has 3 sacks this last game)

Jared Allen has been a beast this year, too bad his team and defense are terrible. Suggs has DPOY wrapped up in my mind.

It helps that Suggs has been getting a lot of media attention for his big season. Ware is hurt by expectation; if he didn't have double digit sacks we would be surprised, rather than glowing over his big year. Jared Allen is something of the same, and has been playing for a terrible team. His versatility helps his case for DPoY, provided that he can keep on racking up sacks.

That's the nice thing about Suggs, he always shows up in prime time. It just used to be that he didn't in the other games. Let's hope we don't get flexed lol!

Suggs is beasting right now, our entire defense is..we went from record low sacks to leading the league with like 45 already

Suggs is definitely in the running for Defensive Player of the Year
