Mac Os X Lion

Anyone upgraded to Lion yet?
I'm on 10.7.2 now; have a lot of mixed feelings about it. Absolutely hate it when it comes to programming -- programs don't run properly (especially MAMP), permissions issues crop up non-stop, and other less serious annoyances to deal with. Honestly, an embarrassment considering it's Unix heritage. I don't expect it to compete with Linux (or even Windows) in that aspect, but this has been pretty bad.

But as an everyday general system, I'm really liking it. After all these years, the interface still looks fresh and modern, which is a heck of an accomplishment in itself. Although I am on Windows and Linux most of the time due to work, I find myself on Mac most often during my spare time; really enjoy a lot of the apps.

Any random thoughts or impressions from other Lion users?

I'm still running snow leopard, it's been rock solid for me.

haha, I thought the same thing. They're gonna have to start pulling up some prehistoric animals next..doesn't get anymore BA than a lion (well, maybe a Bengal, but well, being a Ravens fan and all, I hate that idea just on principle).

i wont go to lion. too many glitches in it and people are hating it from what I read.

Snow Leopard is fast enough for me

Same for me, Snow Leopard is perfectly fine, I'm happy with it

Maybe in six months or so when they have more work and fixes done for Lion I'll consider it

I have Lion, haven't had any problems with it. I actually really like it.
