It looks like I'm on of the only people who thinks that hit wasnt dirty. Harrison basically ran into Colt standing up straight. was there helmet contact? Yes. He did lean forward a little bit. But its not like he tried to spear him or "Ryan Clark" him.

If I remember correctly, Colts face hit his own face-guard in the slow mo replay. It looked like he was leaning in for a kiss, lol.

Too lazy to read all replies from my phone but I'm thinking a big fine. A suspension is due in my opinion but I'd be surprised if he gets one.

I love how you guys sit here and act like you are all so concerned about Colt McCoy getting a concussion on the Harrison hit and saying he shouldnt have been put back in the game. The only reason you guys care at all that he got put back into the game was because he ended up throwing an interception on 3rd and goal there from the 15 which pretty much ended any chance the Browns had of pulling off the upset. Was it stupid to put McCoy back in seeing he was concussed?? Absolutely but I dont believe for one second that any Ravens fan on here gives 2 [profanity deleted]s less about them putting McCoy back in the game because it was a danger to his health. You guys are just pissed off he blew the game for the Browns and they couldnt hand the Steelers that one more loss you guys are so desperately hoping for before the season ends. As for Harrison should he be fined?? Definitely it was a terrible hit and totally uncalled no doubt. I wouldnt have a problem either if they suspend him for 1 game as well. If he misses the 49ers game because of suspension so be it. I still think the Steelers can contain the mediocre 49ers offense enough to win the game whether Harrison plays or not. They have faced better offenses this season without Harrison in there and played pretty solid no reason to think they couldnt do the same against the Niners.
Really???? Are you serious?? I usually do not respond to posts only there to get a rise BUT you are WRONG! Try working on a neuro trauma unit and seeing what head injuries do to young people! As a nurse, working neuro icu at Trauma, it got to me because many of the accidents were preventable and even the people who walked out were not the same person as before the brain insult.
It is unconsciencable that the Browns training staff let that go when it was obvious he was seeing stars. Worse yet knowing this could have been prevented had Harrison not led with his head. See what you tackle, tackle what you see. Sad thing is Harrison is messing himself up too.

The ridiculous hyperbole of Ravens fans about Steelers and Steelers fans is why we give no credibility to anything you say.
Are you saying he didn't purposefully helmet-to-helmet him there? McCoy didn't duck (or even move) and Harrison knew exactly where he was going.

I am saying "entire city of Pittsburgh doesn't get it" is a ridiculous statement. Do I think Harrison needs to change his approach to tackling in some cases? Yes. Do I think he had time to say, "gee, I will bust McCoy in the head?" No, I think that is a stupid and ludicrous view of this. It was a bang, bang play with Colt out of the pocket running.

Delusional. It comes back to coaching. It was NOT a bang bang play.

Harrison led with the crown of his helmet. It's dirty, not bang, bang.

I don't usually have a problem with your post, but get out of here with that non sense. Who are you to tell us if we a concerned about the well being of a young man. There's no need for that stuff around here and your just trolling now.

Maybe they should teach your boy how to tackle than. That definitely wasn't a form tackle on any type of player.

Hmmm...will be talked about more Monday but...looks like Harrison might not just get his pocketbook hit this time.

Nah, nothing intentional about it. McCoy's out of the pocket running, Harrison is a short player and a hard hitter. He should have put his head to the side, but its simply not logical to say the guys was thinking, "gee, I think I will do a helmet to helmet on this kid." You guys hate for the Steelers blinds you to logic. I can be rational and say Harrison has to work on changing his approach. But you guys cannot be rational enough to admit that its not a thought out action...silly.

How about "he shouldn't have aimed for McCoy's head"? The fact that he hit him didn't matter. It's the fact that Harrison didn't try to tackle him at all - just knock his lights out. Name me one other person who tackles a QB standing up.

Has one fine for a facemask. $7500

Can't even recall a helmet to helmet hit from him.

The dude launched. Led with the crown of his helmet. This is basic stuff. Are you saying he's too stupid to comprehend it? Nah. He thought he had a free shot at their QB and took it. In his presser, he does not deny leading with his helmet in the least. He says "I thought he was a runner at that point". Meaning, yeah, I knew I led with my helmet but I thought it was cool.

6 offenses in a little less than a year is more than coincidence. He's either too stupid to understand the rules or he's a headhunter.

Honestly, I just think hes too dumb to really grasp and implement change. So many have made the proper adjustments to play within the new "softer" NFL. He just doesn't get it!

Technique becomes habit and then instinctually, you know the right thing to do. Eyes up, drive through with your hips..... Silly to me that you are talking about football but don't seem to know what's fundamental and what's not....
He's going for kill shots, or he's just plain stupid... You take your Pick....

Really? I'm shocked. And here all you Ravens fans had me convinced that the NFL, Refs and even ESPN are against you...i was just sure you guys had to have more penalties and more fines since the refs hate you and love the Steelers...dang, painful when the facts get in the way.
