0-16?

96 posts in this topic

Ok so we saw the Patriots go 16-0, only to suffer a Giant (pun intended! :D ) loss in the Super Bowl. So will we see the opposite? The candidates are Texans (0-3), Bengals (0-4), Lions (0-3), Rams (0-4), their are two games between the four where they play each other. I think the Rams have the best chance at ummmm imperfection. I swear that team has more holes than the Pats have cameras :)

just like the Pats couldn't complete a perfect a season. oh wait they didn't! but its easier for the Rams because they only have to go the regular season to do it. plus losing is alot easier than winning, at least for the Rams

If I had to pick a team to do it, I'd say the Bengals. They couldnt even beat the Browns at home. And its only going to get tougher for them. The AFC North's schedule is brutal. Their only saving grace is the Chiefs but I think that game might actually be at arrowhead and if it is I expect Larry Johnson and Jamal Charles to run all over them.

But even the Rams will be going into every game trying to win...

They'll get at least one "W".

I think the Lions are far and away the worst team this year and the only one i think has a legitimate chance of going 0-16.

At least the Rams have been scoring SOME points with their offense by utilizing Steven Jackson. The Lions are so pitiful they can't even utilize their best player, Calvin Johnson, to get points on the board.

The Dolphins are stepping it up, and the Texans and even the Bengal to a degree are doing well, they are just making foolish mistakes that cost them games (kinda like us).

The lions & Bengals have too much talent to lose. With C. Johnson, Williams, Kitna and R. Johnson, they are at least going to win one game.

Dolphins shouldn't even be in this discussion. And the Lions aren't far and away the worst team, the Rams are actually worse!!

look at these scores
3-38
13-41
13-37
14-37

outscored 43-153!

and the Lions
21-34
25-48
13-31
7-34
outscored 66-147

and to top it off, they have pretty tough schedules, and they don't play each other so its possible they both end up 0-16!! too bad we don't get to play them 12 times in a row, that would really turn our season around

I took a peak at the Bengals schedule for the whole season, and between the Lions and Bengals, I think the Bengals are going 0-16

Here it is:

Wk 8 @Texans
Wk 9 vs Jaguars
Wk 11 vs Eagles
Wk 12 @ Steelers
Wk 13 vs Ravens
Wk 14 @ Colts
Wk 15 vs Redskins
Wk 16 @ Browns
Wk 17 vs Chiefs

I think the only opportunity the Bengals have is probably in the last week with the Chiefs. I would say Texans if they played them in Cincinnati but Houston has home field advantage. I really hope that the Ravens don't end up giving Cincinnati their only win this season like last year, that would be terrible

i really dont see any team going without a win this season. look at the rams and thats enough of a reason just to say sit back and watch this season because anything can and will happen.

I thought so too.. but considering the Rams beat dallas and the Skins i'd have to say I now disagree.. Although I think its gonna be a short lived high because everytime a team gets a new coach there is "new hope" but before long the same problems start coming up agian.. and the rams will easily be exposed shortly.

Yup. Plus the Bengals still get to play the Ravens.

Cheap shot, I know.

Your right, what a perfect opportunity for the Bengals to get their first win. Against the Ravens! why stop the trend.

It will be bad if the Bengals beat us and finish 1-16. It will take a couple of years before people stop making jokes about how a winless team can win, play the Ravens.

I don't see us losing to the Bengals this year.

They just look absolutely pitiful, especially if Carson is banged up all year.

I am extremely worried about that game if the Bengals still dont have a win by then. Because its a road game. The Phins game last year was a road game to.

True, alot of them going winless depends on Carson Palmer being able to return. I do think Detroit has a better chance to do it than Cincy because they have no real QB to come back and help them out.

The rams have been shocking us all with how well they are playing.. or MAYBE it was just dallas on the skins on off days. BUT the bengals WONT go 0-16.. They have kept up with alot of the good teams.. the Lions however.. well it seems like they just dont even SHOW UP on the feild.. I guess I cant blame them.
