Sorry Cardinals fans. Reported as being a 10 year deal worth $250 million.

On a positive note for the Orioles...attendance should bump up a bit when Pujols comes to town.

Haha. I have an uncle who is a very, very, very bad person, who stole from me, and is a huge Cardinals fan who kept talking about how great Pujols was because he was a loyal guy and he's the greatest baseball player of all time. Wonder what HIS morning is like? Haha!

If Pujols leaves the Cards....I'll be very upset. He's my favorite player and it seems he's chasing the dollars. Not that I fault a player for getting his paper... But, come one man. The Cards gave him his first chance, they built the team around him. He even grew up in Missouri ( after first leaving NY from Santo Domingo). It's not as bad as what LeBron did, obvioulsy but its comprable. Not to mention, the Cards would certainly be in great shape for another trip to the fall classic. Maybe, a lot of it has to do with LaRussa leaving?

Baseball is ridiculous and this only proves it further!!!

I don't know how they would go about implementing a salary cap in MLB and I don't care how they do it...but I just wish they would. But I also believe they never will. :(

If it wasn't pretty much official before...it is now.

I can't wait to see the Angels come to Camden Yards. I've always wanted to see Pujols live... I still think MLB needs a salary cap though.

I was hoping to get that chance last year... but he had the broken arm.

Well there's the mystery team. Just thanking my stars it wasn't my Phillies.

And even though the idea would hurt the Phils, baseball needs a salary cap......geesh.

If the article I read on Deadspin about Pujols's agent is true, no wonder he took off for "greener" pastures. The agent is a sleazeball.

Also the article has some very borderline NSFW pictures.
