I Have A Feeling That The Browns Will Upset The Steelers On Tnf.

35 posts in this topic

I dont know, just got a feeling. Look what they did last yr (Browns), they went on a roll and upsetting some pretty good teams. They upset the Saints in their dome and i think it was on Thursday night football too and then they went on to beat the Pats if i remember correctly.

What do you guys think..

Oh this might not be in the right section but this game does affect us in a big way, Especially if the BROWNS did beat the Stealers. That would be a great Christmas present. Heck if they did, i think i might make a Browns montage, lol.

I don't think the Browns have what it takes on either side of the ball. Unless Roethlisberger has a nightmare then I really can't see it myself, as much as I would love it to happen.

I don't think it will happen , but it could. The Colts are now 0-12 , and the Steelers only barely beat them , 23-20 , with a FG in the final minute. That was even after they had knocked Collins out of the game , forcing Painter into service.

It would probably be wise for the Ravens to keep that Steelers-Colts game in mind while preparing for this Sun.

I think they have a better chance of beating the Stealers than they did us. Think about it, Hillis looks like he was just warming up playing against us. Our Run defense is alot better imo. And Colt is a better QB than his stats lead on, I kinda feel sorry for him, their O line sucks and he is always getting the Crap beat out of him. They need atleast another decent WR and 2 TEs (good ones) and Cleveland can be dangerous, Their Defense is good, it didnt look like it against us though, lol.

I just got a feeling the Browns are going to go on a run and win the next 2 games until they come to Baltimore and face the Real 12th man.

I think we have one of the Loudest Stadiums in the N.F.L, Announcers are always saying how loud us fans get, rich eisen mad a remark about it post game (49ers thankgiving game)

I would love to see it and the browns are due for a "complete" game and if they can somehow manage to do that and stop the run for once it is possible.

Any given Sunday or in this case Thursday as they say...However, if the Steelers somehow someway find a way to lose this game at home to the Browns they dont deserve to go to the playoffs...The Steelers best chance to drop a game the rest of the season will come in San Francisco in about 2 weeks not tomorrow night...

Yea the Steelers barely beat the Colts 23-20 and that's all that counts in the end is that they got the win...I dont care if the Steelers play the worst game in the history of their franchise tomorrow night and they win 3-2 as long as at the end of the night they push their record to 10-3 and keep the pressure on the Ravens to win out until New Years Day is all that matters to me. I bet looking back at things now as bad as the Jaguars have looked the last month or so and you sitting here saying the Steelers barely beat the Colts who are winless and are 0-12 I bet you and many other Ravens fans would love to say you barely beat the Jaguars right now am I right???

My , my , Steelers fans are a sensitive lot this season , aren't they ? It's understandable. I mean , this season has hardly played out in the manner to which you've grown accustomed , so some stress-related grouchiness on your part would not be unexpected.

To answer your question : Yes.
Just think if the Ravens were able to win even one just one of those two games they lost against either the Jaguars or Seahawks they would be 10-2 instead of 9-3 and essentially 2 games up on the Steelers with 4 to play and you wouldnt have to sit here and make these threads like the one you just made here trying to convince yourself and others that the Browns who gave the Rams one of their 2 wins this season because Dawson couldnt make a 22 yard FG are going to get on a "roll" as you like to say and beat the Steelers in Pittsburgh tomorrow night.

Oddly enough though - it would be just 3 days shy of the 2nd anniversary of their upset of the Steelers in '09. No one is really expecting the Browns to upset the Steelers though. (okay except maybe the OP lol). I think you could definitely take a loss to the 49ers however.
Just making a point. A lot of Ravens fans on this board are big on coming on here and saying the Steelers barely beat the Colts or barely beat the Chiefs a few weeks ago and blah blah blah. My point is even though the Ravens did beat the Steelers twice so far this season and notice I didnt say "sweep" the Steelers yet because they might play a 3rd time in January when it really will count. Anyway the reason this division race isnt virtually over this season is because the Ravens have failed and failed miserably to beat the teams they are suppose to beat and have no business losing too. Had they done that you wouldnt have to be hoping for the Steelers to lose one of these last 4 games seeing that a lot of Ravens fans are extremely insecure and scared to death that the Ravens are going to drop one more game this season and blow winning the division and getting homefield in the playoffs.

Well if it helps, Woodley will be out for this game so maybe that could help, but then again maybe not.

And who will be the difference maker for the browns to accomplish this win? lol
It will be...um....eh...don't know. I'd say Hillis but he's not 100%. Perhaps McCoy's receivers will learn how to not drop passes in a week? Steelers will likely take this game. I am waiting for the 49ers game. That is their best chance at a loss.

As much as I'd like to see it -- I don't see it happening. Pittsburgh just doesn't go away when the playoffs & the North are on the line. They're that annoying gnat at a BBQ.
