Week 5: Tennessee Titans At Baltimore Ravens

Did the Ravens switch jerseys with the Titans? I've seen this so many times out of the Ravens, but not out of the other team.
Your right, we should have brought in a veteran like Steve McNair, Billick was just too stubborn to do that.

Do you not see the promise from Flacco? When did Boller EVER show us that, he looked nervous and erratic every single time he dropped back.

By your logic, the Colts should have several superbowls too.
yeah.. look how many years peyton had when the offense was lighting things up, but the defense was giving up way more points causing them to loose. they were like us..just the opposite ..lol.. you are so bias you know nothing.. and billick brought mcnair in cause his job was on the line.. come on dog.. eveyone knows boller was his guy.. that's why he played him instead of troy when mcnair went down..

Touchdown! That's what we needed. We are winning the turnover battle, stopping the run, winning in points and now moving the ball! The crowd has been awakened.

Those were the first points allowed by the Titans in the 3rd quarter so far this season. The pressbox just made that announcement.

The titans have 10 penatlies for 78 yards. They are self-destructing at the moment. Yelling at each other on the sideline. The Titans are going to need to figure out our defense quickly if they are going to have a shot.

You didn't really address anything that I said. You said that the Ravens should have won multiple superbowls by now, and I responded by implying that a ton of teams could say that same thing about themselves, including the Colts. You've been critical of Flacco, so i cited the one time when we brought in a veteran in McNair. I loved McNair, but it was pretty clear that the veteran QB route wasn't the answer either. We've switched coordinators multiple times, we have revamped our entire receiving core, our running backs and our O-line. What else are you asking for?

Look, we are all agitated that our weak quarterbacks have historically spoiled our awesome defense, but this franchise has taken every possible route in an attempt to fix that. This is the first time in a long time that I have actually been excited about the future of our team. Maybe Troy would've shown me that he could handle the responsibility, but the reality is that he wasn't able to start. You can't just pull Flacco now, if Troy doesn't work out then you are left with nothing. Again.

This is the same as the Pittsburgh game, but worse. One touchdown and they're still tied even after all the problems they've faced.

They should have ejected Haynesworth for that cheap shot on flacco.

This is a good, gritty football game to watch.

I just saw Ozzie Newsome and Kevin Byrne talking to each other in the Pressbox. This contest is great.

Surprisingly they didn't even penalize him on that. They just called offsides.

I still cannot get over what a punk Finnegan is, him shouting at Bullock would be the equivalent of Johnson screaming in Harbaugh's face last week. You just killed your team, twice in a row, you've lost all possible leverage.

Even though these drives usually amount to no points, at least our D is getting a rest. The reality of being a Ravens fan; a scoreless drive can be considered successful.

Mason is reminding me a bit too much of Hines Ward; he is getting in some cheap shots on Titans players without drawing any penalties. It's certainly within the parameters of the game, but still.

I bet if a Raven had tossed an opposing QB to the turf on an offside/unabated to the QB play, he would have gotten tossed. Or at least hit with a 15 yard penalty.

It is surprising. i think maybe the penalties would've had the same result, but they didn't even recognize that he had done it.

I am not as impressed with Flacco in this game as I have been. But in games like this, just having him not lose the game is probably going to be enough.
