CLEVELAND—

Ravens coach John Harbaugh said after the team's 24-10 victory over the Cleveland Browns today that he was giving the game ball to WBAL radio broadcaster Ron Smith, who retired last week as he is battling pancreatic cancer.

Harbaugh said Smith spoke to the team Friday before it left for Cleveland.

Another example of why this organization is a class act.

My sympathies and condolences to Ron Smith and his family. You've been a big part of Baltimore for many years and will be missed by a great many.

Saw this during the presser and had to look up the story. Very sad but shows that the Ravens care about this city and its people.

Off topic but its still a class act i feel,

The RAVENS could have clearly ran up the score easily but instead decided to run the ball over and over again and at the end instead of kicking a field goal, they kneel. Even though i wanted them to score as many points as possible, i can atleast RESPECT it.
