Im Not Giving Up On Lee

Just coming off of a injury and getting back into rhythm and people are calling for his head. Especially when he was trying for very physical catches with one defender on his back. Isnt he use to what Torrey is doing now? Let him adjust and it will pay off big I believe.

Still trying to get into football shape + the rainy weather didn't help. He'll come along soon. Remember in the pre-season he and Joe were clicking without even spending a week together.

I dont think anyone is calling for his head. Lee practically just got back. Hopefully he gets back up to speed by the playoffs, when we'll really need him.

He made a play for us last week pushing for that 1st down. Ok he didn't make a play this week but I wasn't expecting a lot from him at this point anyway. If he can get 100% healthy and on the same page with Flacco by the playoffs I'll be more than happy!

The dropped TD pass was a good play by the defender. But he did drop a 3rd down slant route, granted in traffic, but Flacco layed it right in his hands. He still hasn't got the opportunity to make plays, but I'm confident the more he plays the more we will see him be effective.

On the over the shoulder catch, that was a great play and great catch if only he could have gotten that foot down.

Idk why anyone would call for his head. We have veteran speedster as our number 3 and when he's back in the flow of things, he'll be another weapon for the offense. People need to chill.

Even if he gets zero catches, everyone knows he's there and has to be defended. Again, like Ed Reed, Sizzle, Ngata, Rice, Boldin, people know these guys are great, and spend extra time covering them. It opens things up for the rest of the players.

It will take another year to develop chemistry with Joe. Like Boldin did. Plus hes coming off an injury. He does stuff we cant see because of his speed, like help open the middle. I think he'll be great in the next few years along with Boldin and Torrey when Cam leaves

I thought I saw him clearly step out with the second foot, but people in the game thread were pissed because of no challenge. I think he was clearly out, but who knows.

Thats just dumb, Guess everyone is forgetting that 1st down catch that he fought hard to get in the 49ers game.

I love Lee Evans, dude has skill. We have 2 great Deep threats, im loving that. I dont remember in ravens history that we ever had 2 deep threats.

We are stacked on Offense , its a great feeling.

Yeah, I thought so too, but at the second look his second foot was 100% in the white (out of bounds).

He will be an asset before the year is out, Joe is looking for him and they will start making those plays

Yeah Lee Evans hasn't even crossed my mind as being a problem. It will come.

Lee is going to show up later. Later we are going to have to go 3 wides and Lee is going to be the seldom used weapon. Teams will try to double Torrey and watch out for Boldin or Dixon and Lee is going to see some one on one coverage against a guy he can blaze by. It's coming, it will happen but we have to be patient for it.

When Cam ran that end around in the first half I definitely made sure to check the game thread because I know how much everyone hates his end arounds, and I think its hilarious how mad people get. lol

But back to the topic, Evans made a huge grab for us last week. It was tough in general because of the weather to get the pass game going so I'm not going to get on anyone about tonight. I think more than anything we will need Evans in clutch situations. There will be some spots where he comes through when we need a veteran.
