Memories of Dolphins winning one game all season against us

*shudder*

And who was their head coach again?

I'd like to see Flacco pull out a 3TD performance for once. And that is without +50 disasterous attempts
Didn't he have one of those vs the Rams?

Well Indy does have the 22nd ranked pass defense in the NFL. But they're 30th against the rush. Still, I would also like to see a few more TDs from him. There have to have been at least 7-8 this season where they were dropped in the endzone (one yesterday, 3 vs. Arizona, one in the second steelers Steelers game, and I'm sure there were 2-3 more that I missed).

There is no such thing as an easy win in the NFL. Indy still has professionals on their team and will fight like crazy to not go winless. I still think the Ravens win, but no such thing as easy.

Agreed. I'm a new fan to the flock, but from what I've seen, every AFC north game is a dogfight.

I am surprised how poor the Colts defense is this season. Last time I checked they still had Freeney and Mathis coming off the edges. Unless they have just hung it up for the season I think they will cause problems for Flacco.

I expect another running game though. I think the team has finally said enough is enough Cam. You played around with your plays early in the season and it cost us two games. We can't do it anymore. We are basically in the playoffs right now but playing for Homefield advantage is massive.

We must have it.

Well I want the Bengals to beat anybody we need to get rid of, and also lose when we need them to (Just in case.) Yes, we do need both of those guys to win for sure.

Well yes, i want them to win next week. And after that.. I want them to lose.

Got it...so we should go by what you mean, not what you say. Understood ;)

I know Garcon and Wayne are still weapons but is Addai playing or is he hurt as usual? Also, what is goin on with Dallas Clark, does he only catch passes from Peyton Manning? I have not followed the Colts one bit this season other than listening on the radio when they played the Steelers way back when.

Homefield is massive I agree and right now that 92 yard drive that Flacco had against the Steelers is absolutely HUGE and the difference in all of these AFC playoff scenarios for homefield at this point.. The only question left to be answered in the regular season is who is going to have at least 1 more loss or letdown before the playoffs the Steelers or the Ravens or will they both win out and Baltimore wins the division and gets homefield...I still say the Ravens have 2 tough games left at San Diego and at Cincy to the Steelers 1 tough game at San Francisco.

Agreed. You guys got past your other tough game (unfortunately). That was just a disgusting game to follow as I shopped for my Christmas tree. The fumble early in the game was basically it. The Bungles were down 14 and it was done. Just goes to show what a quick lead can do.

Did Dalton play like crap? I am assuming Benson was shut down. That tight end Gresham is pretty good and AJ Green made a few plays from what I saw but it must have just been turnover central or something?

They looked slightly better yesterday with Orlovsky. I'm a little worried, but we're at home. We take care of business at The Bank.

Orlovsky has no fear and will take chances and sling the ball all over the field

We could see multiple picks but we could also get burned on long completions.

He can't throw when is on his back though.

He played okay in the 1st quarter but the Steelers had a couple long drives in the 2nd quarter and a Bengals turnover by Tate on a punt return that turned the game around. I think the Chargers have a chance to really make that game with the Ravens in a few weeks mean something if they win tonight in Jacksonville and beat Buffalo at home next week. That would get them to 6-7 overall and with Oakland playing at Green Bay next week and most likely going to lose that would put them at 7-6 and with Denver having both the Bears and Patriots left on their schedule the next 2 weeks that game the Ravens have in San Diego in 2 weeks could still see a scenario where the Chargers have some life left to still win the AFC West assuming they win tonight against the Jags and next week at home against the Bills which is a pretty strong possibility...

Complete total domination.
Best defensive game of the year I think.
I dont care if Colts QB had good stats.
They were against the Patriots who have the worst pass D in the league and did most of it in garbage time.
Ravens win, 48-0 .......*serious face*

I am a little tired with the over-all assumption that we struggle with "lesser" competition theory. First of all, football has way more parity than any other sport I have ever seen. Secondly, we lost by narrow margins and a play here, or not making a mistake there would have been the difference in those games. Thirdly, those were on the road, and Indy has to play us on the road. Lastly, this is December football and now is when the games truly matter. What happened, happened in the past and it can't be changed! There is no more taking anyone lightly, or anything for granted from here on out.

So let's give our guys a little credit, and a lot of support on the field when we play these guys. I expect M&T to be rockin, and for the players and the fans to be partying. If our expectations for the team are what they are, then they should expect nothing less than the loudest from us. Let's make the Irsay's terribly regret ever forsaking our town!

You're right. Between that and what NE does we'll know how things shake out. Looks like a letdown game would decide who wins the HA and the division! Exciting but horrible on the heart lol.

You are right that the Chargers technically are not out of it yet, but in reality they just arent that good. Their defense while statistically isnt bad, has regressed as the season has gone on. They dont have a consistent pass-rush and their corners are average. Weddle is probably their best player on D.

Their O-line has been decimated by injuries losing their starting LT and LG, and Rivers has been awful this season. They still have weapons in Jackson, Brown, Gates, and Mathews but without a consistent O-line they cannot sustain drives. Way too many mistakes and turnovers all season. I picked them to win at Jacksonville, but only because the situation there is even worse.

The other thing is the Chargers have completely quit on their coach. They know he is getting fired at the end of the season and they dont look like they care.

Ravens 24 Colts 13.... Orlovsky did not face the kind of defense in NE that he will see on Sunday. It may take a series or two to figure him out...I am guessing everyone was figuring on seeing Painter under center.

The Colts have the same team as last year with little or no leadership from the QB position. Yes, they can score. No, they cannot beat us at home. Ravens 42, Colts 21.
