Von Miller already has the DRoY award on lock down. Unless someone explodes in the next few weeks no one can catch him, and they would have to supernova, not just explode. How much consideration should he be getting for Defensive Player of the Year?

I don't see why he shouldn't be in the running, there hasn't been a rookie season like his since LT.

The guy has been pretty damn good. He definitely deserves to be in the running for DPOY.

He should be getting as much consideration as anyone. He's an All-Pro 4-3 OLB even if you discount his pass rushing numbers, which are sick.

He's had the best rookie season I've ever, personally, seen from a defensive player.

No doubt Von Miller will win DROY Award, I remember all the talk after Denver drafted him about him he won't fit the system and he's more of a 3-4 OLB. He won't fit in the 4-3, and now look at him, he sure made the transition well and is part of why Denver's defense is so dominant. Plus the whole thing of the Broncos deciding between Miller and Dareus is pretty mute since both are great players and both would have helped any team regardless of the system.

If he can keep it up, there is no reason for him not to be in the DPOY running.
