Because it is a real possibility that he will interview for some head coaching jobs after the season is over. Especially if the Ravens win the Super Bowl...makes him even more enticing to other teams.

I don't know, I see him as a DC only guy. I just have a feeling about him that he just wants to be the DC. He just wants to do defense. At least I hope that's the case.

However, if he does happen to leave, we have a plethora of coaches that could step up. Ted Monachina and Dean Peas have both had DC experience if I am not mistaken. Clarence Brooks has been a great defensive line coach, and I think he may be the next in line for DC if Pagano does leave.

Greg Mattison was OK as a defensive guy. He kept the Ravens in the top 3 in most defensive categories so it's not like he was horrible, just not as dominate as we are used to seeing. Yeah at this level though, with our defense, he should have been better. The Super Bowl was ours last year, we let it get away because of bad coaching. Rushing three players in Pittsburgh, what in the world was that?

With all these Head Coaches being fired, more than it has been in yrs past. I think Pags has a 90% chance of being a H.C. , man i really, really hope im wrong. I really do.

I said it before , when it was brought up that i think its a really big reason why the RAVENS do not have multiple rings because we are constantly losing D.C. I feel it hinders us from staying on a roll. I do not know any other N.F.L team that has ever had this problem. Its a serious problem, no other team goes through as much as we do. Its UNREAL, starting to rage about it. Hope Pags will stay atleast another yr , but if we win the SB i think its a given that he is gone next yr and then we will be back to square one. Like usual .

As insanely great as our defense is, its hurting us. Could you imagine if Rex would have stayed, i think we would be on our way to our 3rd superbowl.


Who else think pags will not be here next yr, It is a real possibility.

Hope your right bud. They just fired the K.C coach, Dolphins coach and the Jags a few weeks ago. I know Jeff Fischer will take one of those jobs. Maybe Bill Cowher will possibly take another one.

Also i think atleast bare min. another 2 coaches will be fired after this season.

Like others have said, he won't. He's only been a Cord for one year. Way to early for any team to be interested in him. If anything I give our defensive coordinators at least a three year shelf life.

I would agree with you on that but just look at Jack Del Rio, he was a position coach for i think just a yr so.... You just never know.

Plus look at all the coaches that are getting fired. Most of them are first time coaches. Usually when this occurs they go back to the old-timer well.

I hope your right, but if he isnt gone next season and our D continues to be so dominate, i think after his 2 nd season alot more people will be worried. Honestly i didnt give it much thought until i just saw 2 more coaches get fired and like i said before atleast 2 more will be too more than likely. Heck i think there are a total of 5 maybe even more that are in the hot seat.

Think i already did, The COWHER. But the only way i think he will take a H.Coaching job is if the Team is already established. (the pieces are already there, they just need to be lined up correctly) , A team like, lets say EAGLES. Also for some reason i feel he would take a N.F.C team more than a A.F.C

I know Fischer will be a coach next yr.

Steve Spagnuolo was DC for the Giants for just two seasons.
After what his D managed in the Superbowl he became such a hot name he was able to turn down offers, the Redskins for example

Got a huge contract from the Giants then moved on to the Rams

If Ravens win the SB, I see much the same happening.

LOLOL a hole, seriously though, I do think it will be The All Black uniforms, last time we wore them was on Sunday night football. If not, i do think we will wear them against the STEALERS in the play offs or for the AFC championship.

We've already worn our black jersey twice......as we announced we would......I believe thats the last we'll see of them in the regular season at least. Please dont jump off a building now!
