Josh bynes has been on the 53 man roster since before the san fran game.. the cut c mattison to ps then the rams signed him. No news here. We had two free spots on the ps

Not sure why we needed another DB, but i guess you can never have enough of them. Sucks we got rid of Bynes again though.

Ravens waived Josh Bynes to sign Emanuel Cook. Cook has played for the jets for about half a season.

I'm not a fan of this move, but it doesn't make the hugest difference. I was a big Josh Bynes fan, and I don't think the secondary is really a big problem.

I think we can re-sign Bynes to the PS because he hasnt been on our roster for more than 3 games? Not sure about that. Anyway we only brought him back because we were thin at LB with Ray and Ellerbe out.

ray and or ellerber msut be back again now, i dont understand DB unless Carr is pulled a hamstring which could take up to 6 weeks (i think its a hamstring) or else this fella can return punts and kicks, which is a need

It must suck to be in that position. You go from college to a team's practice squad, to home looking for a job, finding a job then getting a phone call; back to the team, promoted to active roster, then home looking for another job. I don't like it because the one time I did see Bynes on our field he made some plays, they know best though I guess.

If my memory is correct, he had a beastly preseason game that had many convinced he'd make the active roster.

The Ravens must not be sold on him developing into a great LB in the future or they wouldn't take chances with cutting him from the PS multiple times. They must have their eye on a few in the next draft.
